Alec Baldwin’s show Up Late With Alec Baldwin has been dropped by MSNBC following reports that he yelled a homophobic slur at a photographer.

Celebrity news website TMZ published a video of Baldwin’s rant on Thursday, insisting he called the paparazzi a “c*cks*cking f*g.”

Baldwin hit back on Twitter claiming he did not call a reporter a “c**ksucking f*g” but a “c**ksucking fathead.”

Baldwin also threatened to sue TMZ for reporting that he used the homophobic slur before admitting over Twitter that he had used an “anti-gay epithet”.

“I apologise and will retire it from my vocabulary,” he added.

It isn’t the first time Baldwin has used anti-gay language, and now his 17-year-old daughter, Ireland Baldwin, has defended his actions over Twitter.

“My dad is far from a homophobe or a racist,” she wrote.

“We all say things we don’t mean. We all say things we can’t take back. … My point being, what my dad said was WRONG. What my dad felt WASN’T.”

“My dad has an INFANT CHILD to protect…All the parents out there should understand. You would do anything to protect your baby.”

Jessica Hart: ‘Taylor Swift didn’t fit Victoria’s Secret show’

Aussie model Jessica Hart has told Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) she didn’t think Taylor Swift was the best choice of performer for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last week.

“I think, you know what, god bless her heart. I think she’s great,” Hart said to WWD at the show after-party. “But, I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit. I don’t know if I should say that. I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we’ve been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It’s definitely the benchmark of all jobs.”

Taylor Swift hasn’t responded to the comment but Jessica Hart’s PR team reached out to The Huffington Post to clarify the model’s comments. “Jess was taken out of context, in what she was trying to say was that Taylor thought she didn’t fit, not that Jessica thought she didn’t fit,” they wrote in an email.

Awkward.

Model on Russell Brand: “He was trying to be Christian Grey.”

British model Sophie Coady has told the Sun newspaper that Russell Brand cheated on Jemima Khan with her.

Coady said Brand begged her for racy pictures and begged her for threesomes. The 23-year-old has also said he wouldn’t let her touch his hair during sex and has revealed it was a “a bit of a let down.”

“Obviously he has a reputation for being this sex god but he tried too hard to be overly sexy and intense,” Coady said.

“He takes it all very seriously and growls and flicks his hair around. He wants to be this love god and all romantic, but it all felt a bit forced.

“It was like he was trying to be Christian Grey from Fifty Shades of Grey, making the whole experience into this passionate, romantic fantasy. But it was a bit of a let-down.”

Brand has responded on Twitter, calling the story “total lies”.

Ben Affleck: ‘Batkid. Best Batman ever.’

Batkid (Miles Scott) has earned himself some famous fans with Ben Affleck, Christian Bale and Michael Keaton (who have all previously played Batman) speaking out about his feat protecting “Gotham City.”

“It’s so touching,” Bale said in an interview with Vulture. “Wasn’t that fantastic?”

“I’ve never been on Twitter, but how great a thing that it can create something like that! I mean, wonderful,” he continued. “This little kid, oh my God — what a wonderful day for the little fella! It’s just fantastic, seeing all those people who were out there to support it.”

Ben Affleck tweeted that Batkid was the “Best Batman ever,” while Michael Keaton told  TMZ, “It’s the cutest thing in the world. It’s so cool. Let’s not talk about Batman, let’s talk about the kid. That’s such a cool thing. That’s such a cool idea.”

Scott was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 18 months old, his cancer is now in remission.
