Amanda Knox has made her Instagram public and her life is quirkier than we'd imagined.

Since 2015, Amanda Knox has been free to live the life she always thought she both would and could, after being wrongly convicted of the murder of fellow exchange student Meredith Kercher in 2007.

Now, more than two years after freedom was gifted to her with absolute permanency, Amanda Knox has given the world insight into the life she has since led, making her Instagram public for all to see.

Listen: My sister, the killer.

“What’s happening? Well, I made my Instagram public. No more hoarding all my amazing cat videos. Check them out at Instagram.com/amamaknox,” she wrote on Twitter.

Her account, populated with images of her boyfriend, her travels and her cat, has attracted thousands of followers since it was opened to the world.

This is what Amanda Knox’s life looks like after being confined by the walls of prison.

Since being released from prison, Knox has begun dating Christopher Robinson. They started dating in 2016, and moved in together a few months later in her hometown of Seattle.

Far from the sex-crazed psychopath the media wanted her to be, Knox and Robinson seem to live a happy, simple life together.

Her, um, cats

True to her promise, Knox either knows a lot of cats, takes photos of a lot of cats, or owns a lot of cats.

Her Instagram account is absolutely a testament to this – there are cats, well, everywhere.

She travels, a lot

With Robinson by her side, Knox seems to be making up for lost time, and having no qualms venturing to the side of the world she spent so long locked up in.

In one photo, Knox shows a padlock the couple attached to a bridge in Paris with their initials — AMK (Amanda Marie Knox) and CGR. On what appears to be the same holiday, the couple also visited Normandy, Brittany, Alsace, Stuttgart, Munich, Montana and New York.

She poses as Little Red Riding Hood

Interestingly, one of the most talked about images on Knox’s account is one where she is dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood, ready to be attacked by a man in a wolf’s mask in the Black Forest in Germany.

It could be some great metaphor for innocence, or it could be an elaborate fancy-dress shoot.

Your guess is as good as mine.

She’s not going quietly

Since her release, Knox has been an advocate for those wrongly convicted of crime.

In one photo, she wears a black t-shirt with the image of pair of handcuffs and the words “It could happen to you”. Obviously, it would seem, a reference to her time behind bars for murder.

In another, she shows a collection of books on criminal justice, with titles like “Women Doing Life,” “Prosecution Complex” and “The New Criminal Justice Thinking.”
