The top five women have been revealed.

We may be a mere eight episodes in to the 2019 season of The Bachelor, but we already know who the final five contestants are.

And spoilers don’t come much more steadfast than this.

Last Friday, Daily Mail published paparazzi pictures of the final five women, with a few unexpected women in the mix.

Abbie Chatfield, Helena Sauzier, Chelsie McLeod, Elly Miles and Emma Roche are all there.

The photos were taken on May 3, while the women were on a group date. And we just have one question… WHERE IS CHEERLEADER NIKKI? She was robbed.

Does Chelsie McLeod win The Bachelor?

Uh, it certainly looks like it.

Sorry, Elly fans, but Chelsie McLeod (almost) definitely wins Matt Agnew’s heart.

Firstly, she is the bookmakers’ favourite, which is always a giveaway. In 2016, Alex Nation had the best odds to win Richie Strahan’s season, as did Lee Elliott for Georgia Love, and Laura Byrne for Matty J. The only time the bookmakers were wrong was for Nick Cummins’ season, when they hadn’t yet introduced a ‘No Winner’ button (don’t worry, it’s there now).

But we digress.

Chelsie, the 28-year-old chemical engineer from Melbourne, was noticeably also given the most romantic music by producers when meeting Matt, 32, in the first episode.

And lastly, Chelsie definitely shares the most chemistry with the astrophysicist. They even had a food fight on Thursday’s episode, which is basically how every relationship in a rom com starts.

Elly knew Matt before The Bachelor.

Oh. Apparently Elly had a history with Matt Agnew before the show, and the women confront the 24-year-old later in the series.

“Most of the girls knew Elly had history with Matt and it caused a lot of tension in the house,” a source told New Idea.

“[The girls] eventually confronted her about it, and she denied the rumours.”

They continued: “But everyone knew it had happened and started to despise her for having an unfair advantage. The whole thing really upset her.”

Well then. Suddenly Elly receiving the golden ticket on the first night makes a lot more sense. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There could be a Bachie baby on the way.

Look.

We know this is a long shot.

However, speculation has been in overdrive in the past few weeks that Dr Matt Agnew is the first Australian Bachelor to have sex with one of the contestants.

Which isn’t entirely shocking, considering it has been confirmed that he kisses 17 of the 28 women who vie for his love – a record high for The Bachelor Australia franchise.

Now a 'source' has told Woman's Day that not only does Matt have sex with an unnamed contestant in the bachie pad, but that sex may have led to a... bachie baby.

"She was getting jealous of the other girls' connections with Matt and was trying to win him over," the 'source' told the publication. "So she snuck out of the mansion one night and stayed over."

"It was the biggest scandal ever – the girls turned on her completely from that point on and no one trusted her," the 'source' added.

Hmmm.

Two contestants have found love with... each other.

It turns out that sometimes the contestants do find love on the show... just not with the bachelor.

According to New Idea, contestants Rachael Arahill and Vakoo Kauapirura are now "secretly dating".

A 'source' who definitely wasn't Abbie said the bachie girls developed feelings for each other while filming the show.

"They formed a really strong friendship in the mansion and their feelings for each other quickly developed into something more," the source told the publication.

"They ended up hooking up in the mansion one night after one of the first cocktail parties. It was never filmed and producers never found out."

According to the publication Rachael and Vakoo are still secretly dating.

Apparently Sogand is the real villain.

So far Rachael Arahill has given herself the title of "season villain", despite not yet serving up the drama of those before her (like, Keira McGuire, who was the best 'villain' of all time).

But according to Woman’s Day, that's because Sogand Mohtat is the contestant to keep an eye on.

“She’s been cast as nothing more than trouble,” the source told the publication. “She went around accusing a lot of the girls being fake… it ruffled a lot of feathers.”

And it seems, from the trailer for this week, that it will kick off in the next episode when Sogand confronts Abbie about her 'lies'.

The Bachelor Australia airs Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7.30pm on Ten.
