New ad campaign features very famous siblings doing awkwardly sensual things together.

Because don’t we all straddle our siblings from time to time?

French fashion brand Balmain has released its latest ads on Instagram, and the fancy, high-end campaign showcases all the regular, cute little things siblings do together…

Like straddling each other in high heels and being felt up.

The campaign features four pairs of very famous siblings: Reality TV girls Kendall and Kylie Jenner, models Gigi and Bella Hadid, designer/model brothers Armando and Fernando Cabral, and models Joan and Erika Smalls.

And while there’s no doubt the images are striking, they’re also… awkwardly sensual.

Set in what appears to be a dungeon, the campaign stars many spread-eagled legs, seductive gazes and pouty faces.

To ward off any potential confusion about why his models appear to be staring longingly at their sibling’s beautiful cheekbones, Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing issued a statement explaining the campaign was just a good old celebration of  “the unique and unconditional love of siblings”.

(Because nothing says “unique and unconditional sibling love” like fondling your sister’s chest, right?)

“This season’s Balmain campaign was inspired by a brief, key moment that happened while we were shooting our last campaign,” Rousteing — who has possibly the most *farshun* Twitter picture of all time — said in a statement.

Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain.

“While I watched Mario capture a kiss last fall, I was struck by the love and emotion that I was witnessing in front of me. Starting with a determination to once again focus on the beauty of an intimate connection, my team and I quickly concluded that a celebration of the unique and unconditional love of siblings is a natural progression from the spirit of last season.”

Some other ads that have raised eyebrows. (Post continues after gallery:)

The “intimate connection” we share with our siblings is more about poo jokes and watching Friends reruns together, but maybe we just don’t understand ART.

Or maybe if our sisters looked as supermodel-y as the Jenners, we’d be all about gazing deeply into their eyes too.

Maybe.

What do you think of the campaign?
