Paula Joye's wrap up: Best dressed at The Logies.

“Don’t think I’ve ever seen so much embellishment, crystals and brocade on a red carpet.”

Well I’m pretty certain that there are no beads or lace left in India. It was all on the Logies red carpet last night.

There were lots of boobs, loads of black and white and then there were the Real Housewives Of Melbourne.

Let’s wrap up the fashion from the 57th Logies Awards in a giant gold bow

Asher. The End.

All love of Nina aside – Asher Keddie smashed it.

She was poured into a killer Alex Perry gown and knew to go no further than a low ponytail and lone, sparkly cuff and earrings.

Asher Keddie

All this just eight weeks after giving birth her son Valentino.

More on Asher Keddie: Asher Keddie’s husband did the most beautiful painting of his son.

Bow down.

Statement Sleeves.

I worship statement sleeves as much as I do veils.

Both are one of the great fashion gifts we get as woman.

Wear them. And as often you can.

Sonia Kruger.

Living for the exaggerated, Malificent-inspired sleeves on Cheyenne Tozzi in Alex Perry.

Sonia Kruger also had acres of cascading sleeve on her white Steven Khalil gown.

Take note of this trend people because it’s coming.

And it is flat-ter-ing.

The Glimmer Girls.

Wouldn’t be a Logies without bling.

Dannii Minogue looked beautiful in Aelkemi as did Kate Ritchie in metallic Johanna Johnson.

Michelle Bridges shimmered in gun metal grey by Paolo Sebastian while Georgie Gardner looked best-ever in sparkling emerald green.

Marta Dusseldorp kept it chic in a couture jumpsuit by Armani Prive as did Delta Goodrem in black sequinned Steven Kahlil.

Tickedy, tick, tick ladies.

Lovely Lisa.

I mean…how freaking awesome does she look!

We’re loving this, too: Lisa Wilkinson’s ’90s throwback photo is perfection.

I’ve wanted Lisa to wear white for years – that skin and hair are made for a milky dress – and she looked perfection.

To the people on social media that said it was “a little bridal’…um, are you living in 1954?

Just so you know, in 2015, women are actually allowed to wear white to occasions other than their own nuptials.

Lisa told me that her husband (Peter Fitzsimmons) asked her to marry him all over again when he saw her in the dress at home.

Knowing Pete, I can tell you that he probably wouldn’t be able to tell you the colour of said dress but everything about how Lisa looked in it.

Let’s hope she said ‘yes’ because Lord knows that frock deserves a second run.

Gorgeous.

This Is How It’s Done.

If you’re looking for a manual on how-to achieve Full Tilt Glamour just google Jennifer Hawkins.

She wrote the book.

Her black, fitted-to-perfection Alex Perry gown was my favourite of the night.

The covered sleeves, just the right amount of plunge, the fresh hair, the shoe and an ever so subtle glow.

Winners are grinners.

Double The Hotness.

I can go no further without mentioning two outrageously good looking couples.

Megan Gale (in another knock-out Alex Perry) and partner Shaun Hampson…there are not enough adjectives.

Megan Gale and partner Shaun Hampson.

You almost couldn’t look at them without sunglasses.

Equally blinding were Richard Roxburgh and his wife Silvia Colloca (wearing Carla Zampatti).

They’re our Clooney and Amal.

Speaking of Amazing Amal: Oh dear. Amal Clooney asked ‘who are you wearing?’ while arguing Armenian genocide case.

They are all the proof you need that nothing is sexier than swag and intelligence.

Hell Yes.

Lee Lin Chin.

You are All That and a packet of chips.

Full Skirts.

Skirts were getting their Scarlett O’Hara on

Doing it right: Jessica Rowe in pretty pastel purple, Meghan Trainer in 1950’s cool and Demi Harman channelling old Hollywood in red Steven Kalhil.

Crochet Couture.

It isn’t really crochet but I like the alliteration.

Taking on the trend: Carrie Bickmore (unbeleivable speech) looked beautiful in Paolo Sebastian, so did Rebecca Judd in watermelon J’Aton but I wasn’t so sure about Olympia Valance (sister of Holly) in the white J’Aton.

Pretty In Pink.

Someone get Ducky Dale on the line because he needs to know about Scherri-Lee Biggs.

I had know idea who this goddess was but am sure no one left the Logies last night without asking “Who’s that girl?”

Beyond pretty in sculptural pale pink I would watch her make toast.

Scherri is whole lot of Watch This Space.

Lace, Lace Baby.

Loved Jesinta Campbell in red lace from Lover  – the first time the label has ever made a custom gown.

With her newly chopped hair – a decision made literally ten minutes before the carpet – she looked young and fresh.

Equally smoking was Sylvia Jeffreys in Rebecca Valance.

And Then There Was…

The Logies would not be the Logies without some of this.

And by this, I mean them.

The cast of the Real Housewives of Melbourne threw everything at their red carpet looks.

Much hair, much make-up, just much.

Like I said…no beads left in India.
