A year after splitting from his wife, Brandon Jenner is expecting twins with his new partner.

In this week’s Jenner family update; Brandon Jenner, the more alternative (yet still filthy rich) of the genetically-blessed siblings is expecting twins with his girlfriend Cayley Stoker.

The announcement comes just days after he finalised his divorce from his wife of six years and former bandmate, Leah Felder, 36.

The 38-year-old son of Caitlyn Jenner and her second wife Linda Thompson told People of the baby news: “We are at 12 weeks now, so near the end of the first trimester. We’re madly in love and we are very excited about this!”

“Our families are thrilled. It’s wonderful news,” he added.

While everyone is of course thrilled for the couple, the announcement has come as a bit of a surprise given he only announced his split from Leah last September.

He and Leah co-parent a four-year-old daughter, Eva, who he adds is “excited to be a big sister.”

“Leah, Cayley and I sat down with her and told her what was happening, and she was very excited and happy,” Brandon told People. “She’s super excited to be a big sister.”

He went on to explain that his post-divorce relationship with Leah is as amicable as can be.

“Leah and I split up in a really beautiful way, and I think we handled it in the best way possible,” he said. “It was a process, and it took some time to finalise. And now that Leah and I have moved on, I am starting a family with Cayley, and I’m so happy about it.”

So who exactly is Leah Felder, Brandon’s ex, and his new partner Cayley? Here, we take a deep dive into his relationships.

But first, how does Brandon Jenner fit in to the Kardashian-Jenner family?

Let’s start at the beginning, shall we?

Brandon is the older brother of The Hills: New Beginnings star and resident heartthrob Brody Jenner. He’s the son of Caitlyn Jenner and her second wife Linda Thompson, and a half brother to Burton and Cassandra Jenner through Caitlyn’s marriage to Chrystie Crownover. He’s also the stepbrother of Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Rob Kardashian, and half brother to Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

We know. It’s a lot to get your head around.

Brandon Jenner’s career

Musician Brandon was one half of Brandon & Leah, an indie pop group formed with his ex-wife Leah, who he started playing music with in high school.

Their single, “Showstopper” was used as the theme song for Kourtney and Kim Take Miami on E! Entertainment.

He’s since been working on solo material, but has also had a stint starring on reality TV himself. He was on The Princes of Malibu with his younger brother Brody in 2005, and has appeared in a sprinkling of episodes on both Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take Miami.

In an episode of brother-in-law Brody Jenner’s podcast in 2014, Leah discussed how she actually met Brandon through Brody himself.

In fact, they even “dated” briefly in their youth, E! News reported.

“We’ve known each other since we were 11 years old; I was 11 years old, he was 13,” Leah said.

“We started playing [music] in high school together. I had a boyfriend, he had a girlfriend. And then when I was single one day, he was single one day and he came up to me and he’s like, ‘I’ve been in love with you since you were 11 years old.'”

“The boyfriend at the time was me,” Brody interjected. “That’s what made it really awkward.”

“That wasn’t true! That is not true,” Leah insisted, before admitting, “I met Brandon through Brody. We went to school together when we were 11. Okay, 11. You don’t kiss, you don’t make out, you don’t hold hands, you beat each other up, you play basketball.”

Brandon and Leah’s split

Brandon and Leah revealed their split in a manner seemingly inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow’s infamous “conscious uncoupling” – a gentle attitude towards separation endorsed by many a celebrity couple since the term was first coined in 2014.

“It is with love in our hearts that we feel its time to share some personal news with you all,” they wrote on Instagram in September 2018. “After celebrating 14 beautiful years together, we have lovingly come to the decision to end the romantic aspect of our relationship. We are deeply proud of the life we’ve cultivated together and are truly grateful for the bond of friendship we hold and cherish today. It is stronger than ever.”

The post continued; “Even though we have chosen to separate as a couple, we still love one another very, very much and remain a major part of each others lives – as best friends, family and loving parents to our daughter,” the former couple added. “There has been no lying or cheating or fighting that prompted this change, just an expansion of our individual evolution which has inspired us to support each other in a new way. We are still, very much, a loving family and are bonded by a deep connection that is rooted in love.”

Brandon’s mother, Linda Thompson took to her own Instagram page just after Leah made her announcement to share one of her own:

“Although I am personally saddened by the demise of the romantic love that @brandonjenner & @leahjames have shared for so many years, I have full confidence that they will continue to exemplary parents to their beautiful little Eva, and will remain loving best friends who share a remarkable, memory filled [sic] history,” she posted.

Who is Brandon’s new girlfriend, Cayley Stoker?

According to Daily Mail reports, Brandon’s romance with Cayley was made public in March this year, six months after he announced his split from Leah.

From then, Cayley popped up in numerous photos with Brandon’s family, including the Kentucky Derby in May and a trip to Disneyland in August, the publication reports.

About a year ago I heard @corybooker on the @timferriss podcast.  I have been carrying some of the wisdom shared in that conversation with me ever since. “In any given moment, we are far more powerful than we give ourselves credit for.” Or “The only thing we truly leave behind in this life is the love and service we have shown to others.” His words have inspired me to be a better father, member of my community and even more hopeful for our society and its future. Last night I had the privilege of listening to this wonderful man speak at a small gathering close to home.  Everyone was left with tears in their eyes and the belief that not only are we capable of helping to make other people’s lives better but that it is our responsibility to do so.  Regardless of political party or personal beliefs, I’d recommend taking some time to get to know who this person is and what fuels his passion in his unrelenting quest to make our world a better place. This is a man who recognizes that he has gotten to where he is in life because of the few brave individuals who stood up for him along the way. He now dedicates his life to paying that forward. ✌️????❤️
