FLUFF: Brynne Edelsten will not be called tacky.

Geoffrey Edelsten’s new girlfriend Gabi Grecko just called Brynne Edelsten “tacky”.

Yeah, shouldn’ta done that, girlfriend. Should not have done that.

Brynne and Geoffrey ended their four-year relationship after he allegedly had an affair.

Less than five months later, 71-year-old Geoffrey and 24-year-old Gabi appeared together at a memorial service for Tom Hafey. Gabi’s, ah, minimalist approach to clothing caused a scandal. Let’s just say it wasn’t exactly Funeral Chic.

Model/DJ Gabi has come out with some pretty nasty comments about Brynne (who, by the way, is a delicate flower #TeamBrynne).

“I want to make it clear I’m not trying to be her lookalike. I’ve had so many articles suggest I’m Brynne’s twin. It’s so repetitive,” she told The Herald Sun.

“Brynne’s style is trashy, mine is art. That’s the difference.”

Brynne was playing it cool, ignoring Gabi’s public insults, until Gabi sent a photograph of her kissing Geoffrey to Brynne’s mother. Then it was on for young and old. Or, you could say, for Gabi and Geoffrey.

After that dastardly act, Brynne was basically compelled to respond. She wrote an open letter published by New Idea:

“I thought when Geoff met someone new he would stop obsessing about me, but it seems both of you are now obsessed. I find that very strange.”

To Gabi she says: “I think you’re rude and your opinion is judgmental, to be honest.”

She graciously wishes the couple every happiness but requests that they “leave her alone”.

According to Sunrise showbiz commentator Peter Ford, Brynne’s been recovering from the sting of Gabi’s “tacky” comments by judging hot young guys at the Mr World beauty pageant (handsome pageant?).

So what does Geoffrey have to say about his new girl’s appalling treatment of his ex-wife?

This: “I’ve told Gabi that she shouldn’t be making any critical comments… that she doesn’t know her. I think she feels she is defending me when she makes those comments.”

OOPH. Not adequately conciliatory, Geoff.
