Legally Blonde is the pinnacle of comfort-watch films.

The movie follows Elle Woods as she tries to win back her ex-boyfriend by proving her intelligence and completing a Juris Doctor at Harvard Law School with plenty of fashion and beauty knowledge setting her apart from her fellow students.

Did it inspire women all over the world to go into law? Potentially.

Will we quote it until the end of time? You bet we will.

Legally Blonde is available to watch on Stan and Amazon Prime Video.

Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia holds a special place in our hearts here at Mamamia as friends, family, and acquaintances often mistake our women’s media company for the star-studded 2008 film.

But hey, there’s not a movie we'd rather be confused with, and for good reason. The film features a soundtrack of ABBA hits.

The story follows bride-to-be, Sophie Sheridan (Amanda Seyfried) on the Greek Island of Kalokairi as she searches for her estranged father in the hope that he will walk her down the aisle.

After reading her mother’s diary from the summer she was conceived, she narrows the list down to three possible men (Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgård), inviting them to the island just in time for her wedding.

With the perfect soundtrack and dreamy shots of Greece throughout, it's quickly found itself at the top of our favourite movies list.

Mamma Mia is available to watch on Stan.

Love Simon is an underrated feel-good film that you need to add to your watch list for its teen high school nostalgia, and LGBT+ plot line.

It follows Simon, a closeted gay teen who meets another anonymous closeted gay teen from his school online. But when another student discovers Simon's secret, he threatens to out him to the entire school.

It's a classic, coming-of-age teen film – and the perfect weekend watch.

If you haven't seen Moxie yet, jump on to Netflix right now for some uplifting feminist action.

The 2021 film is directed by Amy Poehler and follows 16-year-old Vivian who notices an increasingly misogynistic culture at her high school.

In protest, she creates a feminist zine called 'Moxie' which empowers women and men from the school to call out toxic masculinity.

Be prepared to walk away very inspired.

Moxie is available to watch on Netflix.

Pitch Perfect

Pitch Perfect is a feel-good classic for when you're looking for a music-filled, female-driven comedy - and aren't we all?

It follows a university Acapella group, the Barden Bellas, as they try to recover from a devastating loss at the previous years ICCA Finals by accepting all applicants into their team.

We love it so much.

Based on the 2014 young adult novel of the same name, the 2018 film To All The Boys I've Loved Before has become a cult favourite, and for good reason.

The movie follows Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor), who writes love letters to the five guys she's had a crush on in the past - including her older sister Margot's boyfriend Josh and school jock, Peter (Noah Centineo).

She never intends to send them but of course, they get sent, setting off a sequence of events that forces Lara Jean to come out of her shell and confront her true feelings.

It is hilarious and extra cheesy for all your viewing pleasure.

To All The Boys I've Loved Before is available to watch on Netflix.
