Brooklyn Beckham surprised his dad at his birthday lunch and we dare you not to smile.

Victoria Beckham has shared a video on Instagram that’s guaranteed to melt your heart.

The 44-year-old posted a video of her 19-year-old son, Brooklyn, surprising his dad David Beckham at a lunch for his 43rd birthday in London.

Brooklyn currently studies at Parsons School of Design in New York City, and no doubt the distance between him and his family hasn’t been easy.

Which is why this video is just…everything.

“The biggest surprise of the day…. Welcome home @brooklynbeckham X happy birthday @davidbeckham I love u so much x kisses,” Victoria wrote.

The family were seated at the table in a London restaurant when Brooklyn appeared, catching his dad so off guard he even begins to well up.

“I didn’t know you was coming in,” the former soccer player said to his son before kissing him on the cheek.

“I missed you so much.”

David also shared the video on his Instagram account, followed by the caption “Best birthday surprise, my big boy coming home @brooklynbeckham @victoriabeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven.”

What’s the appropriate amount (not too generous, not too stingy) to spend on an 18th birthday present? Post continues after audio.

But the best part of all of this would have to be seven-year-old Harper’s voice towards the end of the video, making a point to her dad that she ‘didn’t know Brooklyn was coming home either’.

Each of the children shared a birthday post on social media for their dad, with Victoria sharing a beautiful video on behalf of daughter Harper, who doesn’t have Instagram yet.
