Six-month-old Betty will be hilariously looked after.
David Campbell and his wife Lisa Hewitt gave birth to some ridiculously cute babies this year. Babies that, until now, were without a godmother.
Luckily for one of the adorable children – named Betty and Billy, aged six months – David has appointed an equally famous person to the highly coveted role.
David, 41, named long-time friend and fabulous woman Magda Szubanski, 54, as Betty’s Godmother, if we’re to believe Instagram (which yes, we are).
David said some pretty sweet stuff about his mate after introducing her to his six-month-old baby.
“Betty met her Godmother today. I couldn’t wish for a better example. Hi Aunty Mags,” he camptioned the image.
David and Magda go way back. Magda introduced David and Lisa, then was a bridesmaid in their 2008 wedding, so it makes perfect sense that he’d name her as G.M.
Because she’s wonderful, Magda took the role literally and put on a wig and some fairy gear to suit her new title. Bless.
No word on whether Magda is also the Godmother of Betty’s twin, Billy.
David and Lisa also have an older son named Leo, who’s five.
