The top 5 products from Fenty Beauty, ranked by a beauty writer.

Have you heard? Rihanna's delicious-smelling perfume has finally been restocked.

ICYMI, Fenty Beauty's first fragrance, Fenty Eau de Parfum, dropped in August 2021 and immediately sold out. It later returned in December, only to (of course) sell out again.

Now, it's been restocked for a third time, but in limited quantities.

It's no surprise that the Fenty fragrance has been a massive hit – there have been rumours swirling for years about just how good Rihanna smells, with celebrities confirming it.

When American rapper and singer Lil Nas X was asked what his favourite smell was, he replied: "Rihanna. She smells like heaven."

Not only does it do well because of Rihanna's personal scent but because of the brand behind it. Fenty Beauty has gone gangbusters since its launch, and for good reason!

Fenty Beauty launched in 2017 with a whopping 40 shades of foundation (which later extended to 50), with the aim to create accessible makeup products for all skin tones.

It completely changed the game – and the standards – of the beauty industry.

Since then, the brand has released a whole variety of makeup products and extended into skincare, with its customers and beauty experts frothing over all of it.

It's for this reason I've put together a quick ranking of the five best makeup products from Fenty Beauty, and just why you need them.

Let's get into it!

5. Fenty Eau De Parfum, $250.

If I didn't convince you enough in the intro, coming in hot at number five is the Fenty Eau De Parfum, because we all need to smell more like Rihanna.

The 75ml EDP (the strongest type of perfume) created by the singer and entrepreneur, includes ingredients personally picked by Rihanna to represent her essence, memories and experiences. And let me tell you, it smells LUXE.

"That's the thing I love most; it's an experience, it's a memory, encapsulated into a fragrance. One smell, you'll never forget it," she said about the fragrance.

So what does the Fenty Eau De Parfum actually smell like?

Fenty EDP is floral and earthy, and smells like no other perfume I've smelt before.

It has fruity notes of tangerine and blueberry, floral notes of magnolia, geranium and Bulgarian rose, and base notes of patchouli and musk.

In short: it's unique, warm and citrusy. And if you're looking for something different in your perfume wardrobe (that I'm convinced everyone will compliment you on), get your hands on it before it's gone.

4. Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer, $52.

There's a good chance you've heard of or tried Fenty Beauty's Match Stix, but up next is actually their cream bronzer. Because in my humble opinion, it's the real winner.

I've tried many cream bronzers and there are plenty that end up looking the wrong shade (too warm or too ashy) or muddy on the skin. This one (like Riri's other products) comes in a variety of shades and blends out seamlessly.

If I'm doing a full face, I'll apply it with a brush but if I'm just adding some warmth to my bare face, I'll go in with fingers; it's that easy. Oh, and it lasts ages.

How many shades does the Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer have?

The bronzer comes in seven sheer, buildable shades, ranging from Amber (the palest) to Toffee Tease (the darkest).

I've got Macchiato for summer and Butta Biscuit for winter.

Just how natural it looks on the skin no matter how much or how little makeup you have on - there's no harsh contour or overly bronzy cheeks. And it takes minutes to get a seamless blend.

If you haven't tried a cream bronzer before because it sounds intimidating or you don't know where to start, I highly recommend this one.

3. Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, $56.

You know how I mentioned that Fenty Beauty launched in 2017 with a whopping 40 (and later, 50) shades of foundation? This is the foundation.

Pro Filt'r Soft Matte is one of my favourite foundations. It's buildable with medium to full coverage and as the name suggests, leaves your skin looking like you've put a filter on it.

Giving the skin an instantly smooth, pore-diffused, shine-free finish, the oil-free formula is sweat and humidity resistant and won’t clog pores.

My favourite part? The long-wearing, lightweight texture is super natural – so although you're wearing a pretty full coverage foundation, you still look like your gorgeous self.

How many shades does the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation have?

50, duh!

As someone who is oily, this foundation is so good because it's medium to full coverage but not even slightly cakey.

It covers redness, uneven skintone and acne but it doesn't leave your face looking like you're wearing too much makeup, while also lasting the entire day.

Pair it with the Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer, $49 (which gets a notable mention), and your face will look flawless from 7am through to 5pm (at least).

2. Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint Foundation, $49.

If medium to full coverage isn't your jam, there's another (quite possibly, better) option for you.

The Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint Foundation is a Mamamia favourite – our Senior Beauty and Health Writer Erin Docherty and I can't stop talking about it or using it.

As the name suggests, it has a blurring effect with a beautiful sheer coverage that's buildable without making you look cakey. It's also humidity, sweat and transfer resistant.

When applied, it's hydrating and lightweight, and although sheer, it covers redness and uneven skin tone, leaving the skin looking all dewy and glowy.

How many shades does the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint Foundation have?

Like the Pro Filt'r Foundation, their skin tint has a just as impressive range – with 25 colours to pick from. So, no matter your skin colour or undertone, Riri will have something for you.

The formula. It's so unbelievably lightweight – you can see your freckles underneath – which makes your skin look like skin, but it covers everything you don't want to see.

Big claim, but I think it's the best everyday skin tint on the market.

1. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer, $34.

And of course, at number one we've got the MVP: the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb.

I'm a sucker for a lip gloss – anything that leaves my lips looking shiny and luscious, I'm all over it. This is the best one I've come across and I've got all of my friends onto it.

If you haven't tried it yet, Gloss Bomb is a super shiny, super shimmery lip gloss that suits absolutely everyone – there's a reason it's called a universal lip luminiser!

I've probably repurchased it at least four times, and it lasts ages.

How many shades does the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb have?

Gloss Bomb comes in six shades – Fu$$y, a soft romantic pink; Diamond Milk, a milky pearl; Fenty Glow, a perfect rose nude that looks good on everyone; $weet Mouth, a beautifully peachy pink (my all-time favourite); Hot Chocolit, a shimmery mocha; and Glass Slipper, if you want the shine without the sparkle.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb review: What makes it so good?

Everything.

Ok, ok, the colour range (there is quite literally a shade for everyone), the shine and the shimmer. There's a reason so many of us love it.
