Fitzy is asked about dating Tziporah Malkah. Tries to shut down the question immediately.

At the beginning of December, Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald was more than happy to divulge the minute details surrounding his relationship with Tziporah Malkah, formerly Kate Fischer.

Speaking on his radio show, Fitzy and Wippa, the 40-year-old admitted the duo had the smallest of flings after Fischer’s highly publicised split from James Packer.

“I got to know her. She sold her Bondi apartment that James gave her and she bought this amazing place down at Clovelly on the cliff, right down the road from Clovelly Hotel.

“I used to be a bit of a local down there — the ladies used to know me. I met her one day and we became acquaintances and, yeah … Kissing on the lips. Haven’t spoken to her since,” he said at the time.

But two months down the track and Fitzy is having none of it. The TV host was thrown the ultimate curve ball from presenter Chris Brown when the vet randomly raised Fitzy’s prior dealings with the former Vogue cover model on The Project on Thursday night.

“Tziporah has been very testy the last few days. We’re out of ideas about how we can calm her down. Maybe someone that knew her personally, and potentially from her past, may have some ideas … Fitzy? Would you have any clues as to how one might placate Tziporah and make her feel good, given your history?”

A red-faced Fitzy refused to indulge.

“You want to stitch me up, don’t you Browny?” he asked, before pretending the network connection had failed and the interview would be cut short.

And yet the completion of the interview did not mark the end of the interrogation.

“When were you with Kate? Was it late 90s, or ...?” co-host Carrie Bickmore asked.

“Oh, no. Moved on. I’ve moved on," he replied.

And in came Waleed, who doesn't appear to be one to wallow in gossip but who joined the party nonetheless.

“We’re really not going to get this out of you?” he asked.

“No, nothing out of me.”

Perhaps Fitzy has forgotten we still have access to his old radio episodes?
