Why the Olsens definitely (probably) won't be on the new season of Full House.

Lori Loughlin weighs in on all of the excitement.

It’s the news we’ve all been waiting 20-years for, the Tanner family are making a come back. Yesterday TVLine confirmed that Netflix had placed a 13-episode order on a revamp of the popular series, titled Fuller House (a continuation of of the original Full House series.)

But the question on everybody’s lips is which of the original cast will be making an appearance?

Those set to star includes Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber, in their roles of D.J. Tanner-Fuller, Stephanie Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler. John Stamos, otherwise known as Uncle Jesse will be a producer on the new series as well as a guest star.

Today Lori Loughlin, otherwise known as Aunt Becky, who has yet to confirm if she will appear, along with Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and of course, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, weighed in on all of the fuss of Fuller House.

The Full House cast.

Loughlin, 50, told Access Hollywood, "First of all, they have been working on this for a while. It's a spin-off idea that's a flip on the original series," she said to co-hosts Billy Bush and Kit Hoover.

"They made deals with Candace [Cameron Bure], Jodie [Sweetin], and Andrea [Barber]. I believe they just closed [John Stamos'] deal. I don't have a deal. Dave doesn't have a deal, Bob — we're all in negotiations. We want to be there. We want to come back. It's up to them. It's not on us. It's now on them."

But as for the Olsen twins, not even Loughlin is sold that they will come back as Michelle Tanner.

"It doesn't matter how much money they get paid, they don't care. I honestly don't know if they want to do it. I'm sure they're talking to them. I don't know what's going on there. Everyone would love it [if they came back], it would be really nice," she said.

"But actually you just need one of them," Hoover interjected. "She's right, you only need one of them," Loughlin replied.

The continuation is set to debut in 2016, with veterinarian D.J being pregnant as well as recently widowed, living in the Tanner's home city of San Francisco.

D.J's best friend Kimmy, who is also a single mum to daughter Ramona, moves in to help the eldest Tanner with her two boys - 12-year-old J.D. and 7-year-old Max, as well as her soon to arrive baby. Aspiring musician Stephanie, joins them as well.

We'll certainly be watching.
