Fluff: Hunger Games on fire at the box office.

The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire raked in a whopping $334 million worldwide on it’s opening weekend at the box office.

It collected US $161.1 million at the US and Canadian box offices alone, but it only narrowly beat out the original movie.

According to the Huffington Post, “the result fell short of some expectations” not beating out Iron Man 3, which opened with $US174 million.

The film starring Jennifer Lawrence as the reluctant heroine Katniss Everdeen opened massively worldwide, taking in $334 million and beating the previous November record, which was held by Twilight Saga: New Moon.

But whatever, it’s amazing and you should definitely go and see it.

Little Miss Sunshine grows up, takes off her clothes. Sigh.

Abigail Breslin isn’t a Little Miss anything anymore.

The 17-year-old has posed topless in photoshoot with controversial photographer Tyler Shields.

One photo features Breslin holding up a sheet to cover her breasts while staring into the camera with dark smoky eye makeup and wait for it, a red lollipop hanging from her mouth. Another photo shows Breslin in a bubble bath.

Of the shoot, Breslin says: “I don’t make these conscious decisions to do it, to like prove to the world that I’m grown up,” Abigail told E! News.

“I think people see my work and see what I do and see that I’m grown up. But yeah, I’m almost 18. I do want to try different things, but it’s all for fun.”

Breslin stars in Shields’ his first feature film Final Girl, which stars the 17-year-old as a young woman targeted for “initiation” by a group of guys.

“I wanted to do something iconic with her, something simple but timeless,” Shields tells E! News. “She’s the perfect subject for something like this. Incredibly talented, beautiful actress but no one has ever seen her like this. There’s fun in that—showing someone to the world for the first time.”

He continues, “Ever since we did Final Girl last year, she has grown up so much while making the movie, I put her through a lot so it was easy to do this. We have a great working relationship and I’m happy to see her all grown up.”

Holly Valance welcomes her first child.

Holly Candy nee Valance has given birth to a baby girl.

The former Neighbours star, 30, and her husband Nick Candy, 40, welcomed Luka Violet Toni Candy “a few days ago.”

The second middle name, Toni, is a tribute to Nick’s late father.

“It is such a shame that dad died six weeks before Luka was born, but I had the best role model possible in him, so, hopefully, if I can be anything like the father he was to me, when it comes to raising Luka, we’ll be onto a winner,” Candy told The Telegraph.

“Her nickname will be LuLu but if she ever goes into business LuLu Candy doesn’t quite work,”

He went on to say that Valance is looking forward to being a stay-at-home mum.

“Holly is at home. We aren’t having any help at the moment. Holly doesn’t want any; she wants to do it all ourselves at this stage.

“She is a perfect mother. It was a natural birth. She is from a big Australian family, with younger siblings, so she knows exactly what she is doing.”

Pilot named Taylor Swift as his next of kin.

A pilot in US has named Taylor Swift as his next of kin despite the singer never having met the man.
Canadian pilot Michael Callan died three weeks ago after circling the airport for several hours before crash landing. He named Swift as his person to contact in case of an emergency on official forms.

The pilot was unmarried without children and his family says they have no idea how he ended up in Nashville or named the country singer as his next of kin.

Swift, who moved to Nashville when she was 14, had never met the man.
“The first we heard of this was when the appropriate authorities contacted Taylor’s management about the crash,” Paula Erickson, Swift’s publicist, told The Tennessean.

“Taylor does not know this person.”
