Iggy Azalea reveals she's split from her cheating fiancé.

Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has announced that she has split from her basketballer fiancé Nick Young after he admitted to cheating on her in a video released online.

Posting a message on Instagram to her fans, the 26-year-old wrote that she had struggled to rebuild her trust in her fiancé after hearing of his infidelity.

“Unfortunately, although I love Nick and I have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him — It’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to,” she wrote.

“I genuinely wish Nick the best. It’s never easy to part ways with the person you planned you’re entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page.”

Fans flocked to the comments section of her Instagram page to provide support and well wishes.

Unfortunately for Azalea, Young wasn’t as eloquent with how he publicly addressed the break up, literally tweeting a one word response: “Single”.

Young and Azalea had been dating since November 2013 and announced their engagement in June last year.

In March this year, a video was leaked online of the LA Lakers basketballer admitting to fellow teammates that he had cheated on his then-fiancé with a 19-year-old girl. Although the video was allegedly filmed by one of his teammates, it is unclear who released the footage online.

Upon hearing about the footage, Azalea took to Twitter to acknowledge its existence and admitted she would have serious issues marrying the basketballer lest the claims were proven to be true.

“If there’s proof of cheating, she’d be doing me a favour to post it actually. Im not tryna [sic] marry a cheater,” she wrote at the time.

She also admitted that she would have to hear all sides of the story before she took any action on the rumours.

“Nothing is black and white in life,” she also tweeted. “Every situation is different depending on the circumstance.”

It seems that despite all their fidelity issues, the couple were already struggling to find a time to marry among their busy schedules.

Azalea recently told Ryan Seacrest that they’ve had to delay their wedding due to her music commitments.

“It was going to happen at the end of the year, but now I have to go to work so we’ll probably have to wait until the end of the next basketball season to do that,” Azalea said. “So that kind of is a bit sucky, but it’s all right.”
