The Spill: Tuesday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. Jamie Doran just deleted all evidence of Angie Kent and The Bachelorette off his Instagram and we have questions.

Last week, the nation watched this season’s “stage five clinger” Jamie Doran leave The Bachelorette mansion. It was a moment everyone saw coming… well, everyone except Jamie.

But now it seems, Jamie wants to put his Bachie experience behind him.

The 39-year-old firefighter has deleted all photos of himself from The Bachelorette off his Instagram.

Instead of seeing photos of Jamie suited up for rose ceremonies, his Instagram feed now consists of mainly travel pics (and a photo of him posing for a firefighter calendar, which we’d keep in, too).

One of the few pieces evidence that Jamie went on the show is a promo photo for a podcast, where Jamie says he will tell his “side of the story”.

After leaving the show, Jamie said he’s been receiving an inbox full of death threats, with most of them being sent after he cried on TV.

“I’ve been getting death threats and people asking where I live so they can come and smash my face in. But hey, you put yourself out there when you go on these shows and you have to accept that,” he told Mamamia last week.

“I’m not going to deny I’m quite an intense guy and I’m competitive. I was in there for her.”

But at the end of the day, Jamie said he “has no regrets” and thinks what we saw on screen was the “true Jamie”.

It’s fair to say we’re still a bit confused when it comes to Jamie – like why delete all evidence of his time on the show? Was he a paid actor after all?

2. Arnold Schwarzenegger called Greta Thunberg ‘one of his heroes’ after the pair went for a bike ride together and the pictures are everything.

Planet avenger, Greta Thunberg has found a friend in actor, bodybuilder, and former Republican Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, 72.

The Terminator actor shared photos of an afternoon he spent bike riding around Santa Monica, California with the environmental activist, calling the 16-year-old “one of my heroes”.

“It was fantastic to see my friend and one of my heroes @gretathunberg last week and go on a bike ride around Santa Monica together and I was so pumped to introduce her to my daughter Christina. Keep inspiring, Greta!” he wrote in his Instagram caption.

Since his stint in politics, Schwarzenegger has been actively creating awareness around climate change, most recently telling Entertainment Tonight Canada that addressing environmental issues should be one of the US government’s top priorities.

“There should be not one warehouse in the United States that’s not covered with solar panels. Give subsidies for it. We in California do that,” he said.

“America can be a good example of how you can go and lead on the environment — just like Kennedy led with space exploration. We can show the world that you can have a successful economy, the number one economy, and be number one in the environment.”

Meanwhile, Thunberg needs no introduction for her involvement in the climate space. After championing the international Climate Strike in September 2019, the Swedish high school student has been unabashed in sharing her cause, something that’s seen her go from strength-to-strength; from addressing the UN to beating US President Donald Trump at his own (Twitter) game.

Now with Thunberg and Schwarzenegger joining forces, we can’t help but think of them as the ‘power couple’ the climate change movement needed.

3. “I will never attend another racing event.” The Bachelor’s Abbie Chatfield just announced she firmly believes in #NupToTheCup.

It’s Melbourne Cup Day and Australia is fiercely divided.

Following a spate of horse deaths – six in total at the Melbourne Cup since 2013 – some Australians are saying “nup to the cup”, as they turn away from the sport completely.

Abbie Chatfield, the runner-up on Matt Agnew’s season on The Bachelor, is just one of many saying “nup to the cup” this year.

Posting to Instagram this morning, Abbie vowed to “never attend another racing event” again.

“For the past few years, I have said #NupToTheCup and all other horse racing events,” she wrote.

“My issues lie with animal cruelty and the detrimental affects of gambling,” she added.

“I promise to not support this industry in any way. It’s possible to have fun without injuring innocent animals.”

4. “It just happened and felt exactly right.” Miley Cyrus’ ex Kaitlynn Carter opens up about the moment she ‘fell’ for the singer.

For a few short weeks in August 2019, the budding romance between Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter dominated headlines.

Cyrus had just separated from her longtime partner, Liam Hemsworth, and photos obtained by the Daily Mail showed the 26-year-old kissing Carter. At the time Carter was also freshly separated from her husband of over one year, Brody Jenner.

Months after her romance with Miley, Carter, 31, has penned an essay for Elle US, reflecting on her evolving sexuality – and falling for Cyrus.

“I realised I’d always been drawn to her in a way I wasn’t with other friends, but until that trip, it had never crossed my mind to think of her in a romantic sense,” she wrote.

“Recently I’ve found myself wondering why and how my brain had been programmed to ignore an attraction that in retrospect seems so evident to me.”

Carter was also careful not to label her sexuality, adding that she finds her attraction to people is based on her connection “to a person’s mind” over “sex and physical traits”.

“I know I’m not alone in feeling pressure to explain or define myself in one way or another,” she continued.

“I believe it was all just a matter of chemistry that had nothing to do with gender. I still don’t feel like I’m in a place to label my sexuality one way or another, but I’m okay with that. It’s something I’m still exploring and figuring out.”

5. “It’s run its course.” Kyle Sandilands has confirmed his split from Imogen Anthony after seven years together.

For months Kyle Sandilands and Imogen Anthony have been fielding questions on social media and from the media themselves, about the state of their relationship.

On Tuesday, the radio shock jock confirmed those rumours – after seven years, he and Imogen are no more.

“We haven’t been living together for a few months, quite a few months, unfortunately, it’s run its course,” he told his KIIS 106.5 breakfast show.

“So here we all are in the same boat,” he told Jackie O, his co-host who split from her husband, and father of her daughter Kitty, in October 2018.

“You’re single, I am… what a sad bunch of people we are,” said Kyle.

“We laughed at you others [who had split], we laughed at running around finding love only to end up sh*t out of luck ourselves,” he continued before telling the show he wouldn’t be going into any more detail than that.
