FLUFF: The 5 best things that happened at Jamie Lynn Spears' wedding.

Britney Spears’ little sister, Jamie Lynn, got hitched on the weekend, and there were some really special moments we need to share with you.

The 22-year-old singer/actress/famous-person sibling walked down the aisle to wed her love-friend James Watson in New Orleans.

Here are the glorious highlights…

1. Mama Spears wore an actual wedding gown to her own daughter’s wedding.

Seriously. She missed the dress code memo: Don’t Wear White To Weddings. Jamie and Britney’s mama, Lynne Spears is on the left there in a full-length white gown… We’re not sure who that lucky blonde lady in the middle of a Spears sandwich is, but we’re just ecstatic to have photographic proof that this happened.

And here they are recently, picking up their gowns…

2. The bride wore uggboots under her wedding dress.

Look, this is actually completely genius. Squint and you can see that Jamie’s got a sweet, cosy pair of UggBoots under that gown. Is it so wrong that we feel a bit patriotic about this?

3. Jamie Lynn’s daughter is really, really cute now.

In 2007, Jamie Lynn Spears was just 16. She got pregnant to 18-year-old Casey Aldridge, who was her boyfriend at the time. It was a huge scandal at the time. Look how sweet she is now, as her mama’s flower girl. 

4. Jamie’s cake is bigger than her daughter.

Here’s the life-size, giant wedding cake. Compare enormous cake tower to small daughter Maddie. Frankly, we’re disappointed Maddie didn’t jump out of the cake. She’d fit perfectly.

5.  The Spears family put aside their cray-cray differences for a lovely wedding photo.

Aww. There’s a lifetime of dysfunction, legal squabbles, estrangement between these famous family members, but look how beautiful they all are, standing together for a peaceful, sweet family photo. Nicely done, Spears fam.
