Jesinta Campbell and Buddy Franklin have secretly married and shared their first photos.

TV host and model Jesinta Campbell has married her long-time love, footballer Lance Franklin overnight.

The fiercely private couple, who have kept all details of the marriage and wedding a closely guarded secret for some time, announced the news on Instagram.

Campbell, 25, posted a photo of the couple and captioned the image, “Mr and Mrs Franklin”, while the couple tied the knot in a top-secret location that is yet to be confirmed. Mixed reports suggest it was held either in Queenstown, New Zealand or the Blue Mountains, NSW.

The bride was striking in a Vera Wang gown while the 29-year-old groom sported Hugo Boss.

Campbell’s sister Aleysha writing alongside her own image that she is “filled to the brim with joy.”

Campbell has since changed her name on Instagram to Jesinta Franklin.

Speaking to The Courier Mail earlier this year, Campbell said the affair will be ‘low-key’ when the time came to organise a wedding.

“We’ll probably just elope, keep it very simple,” the model told The Courier Mail. “It won’t be a Big Fat Greek Wedding. I’ll just come back and be Mrs Franklin and that will be it.”

The couple were engaged back in December 2014 but put the wedding on hold while Buddy focused on an ongoing mental health battle.

As for the where the couple will be based in the future, Campbell hinted this year during a Women in Conversation round table with David Jones that she would love to move back home to the Gold Coast.

“There’s a bit of a campaign at home – I really want Buddy to play for the Gold Coast Suns,” she told the audience at a David Jones event in the Gold Coast yesterday.

“I’m like, ‘Come on, I want to move back to the Gold Coast!’”
