"I don't know how Jessica Rowe does it."

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for about 20 years, then you would be familiar with Jessica Rowe. She is one of the country’s most respected journalists and news presenters.

But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t get through the check out at Woollies, everything scanned and ready to go, only to realise she’s forgotten her wallet because she changed handbags that morning.

Jessica was refreshingly honest about her life as a working mother to two daughters in an interview with Sarah MacDonald for the podcast series I Don’t Know How She Does it.

Jessica Rowe has also been a vocal advocate for women with post-natal depression.

Jessica, who is a presenter on Channel 10's morning show Studio 10 and married to Channel 9 newsreader Peter Overton, describes the disaster that is bedtime at her house. "Peter will come home and there will still be chaos... He'll come up the stairs and I'll still be at my wits end and he'll be like, 'why can't we just be like a normal family?' And I'll be like, what family do you know has everyone in bed and quiet? You know, come on. That's not going to happen."
