Former Home and Away star talks about the pressure to get her body back after baby

Jodi Anasta’s husband can’t wait to add to their growing family, but Jodi isn’t ready just yet.

Former Home and Away star Jodi Anasta attended the Moet and Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day in Sydney yesterday with her husband Braith Anasta looking every bit the beautiful glowing mother. The couple has their daughter Aleeia in March of this year.

Braith spoke about how much he longed to add to their brood during the race day interviews. However, the former West Tigers player said, “She’s [Jodi] holding me off a bit. She won’t let me touch her for a few months! She’s just knocking me back left right and centre.”

While Jodi's By Johnny dress on Stakes Day revealed a svelte figure, she wasn't so ready for baby number two - yet. Instead, she revealed how lots of mothers experience the pressures of losing their baby weight and how she mostly found it difficult to accept the attention her body received while it changed throughout her pregnancy.

"I think it's more difficult when you're pregnant and if people are being judgmental of how you look, I think that's harder."

"Not so much getting back into shape because as a woman we're all different and the journey afterwards is different for everyone so you eat well and exercise and do things in your own time and you get to a place where you feel good."

"But I reckon the hard thing is when you are pregnant and feeling a little bit judged sometimes or having people pass comments on your body - I think that's what women will find harder," she said.

She's not saying "no" to siblings for Aleeia, but Jodi wants to "enjoy her beautiful girl" first and foremost.
