Jules interviewing Guy Sebastian is all kinds of awkward.

You can almost feel the tension in the air.

You know those times you see a couple arguing in public? It’s kind of like a train wreck, you know you shouldn’t look but you just can’t help it.

Well imagine if this argument happened during an interview. That’s exactly what happened to Guy Sebastian, 33, as he was interviewed by his wife Jules for her online show, Tea with Jules.

Awkwardness ensued from the start when the Eurovision contestant tried to give his wife a kiss and she turned him down because of her lipstick.

Things only escalated as she questioned him about his former afro, time on Australian Idol, girls in his video clips and the suggestion that he looks better in real life than on screen.

Jules asked an irritated Guy, "Here's a compliment for you, you actually look really good in real life, you're looking really toned, have you been working out?"

Guy questioned why she would ask him that, with Jules explaining he must get it often.

"Yeah all the time they [fans] say that "Oh you look skinnier in real life,"" he said.

Taking a clear jab, Jules says, "But what they're really saying is that you look fatter on TV."

"Why are you saying that? You emailed me questions last night and I said "Yeah, sweet," and none of these are those questions. I didn't even want to do this in the first place, this is ridiculous!"

The singer then storms out and tells his stylist wife, "You're taking the p***!"

Guy returns to the interview after having a conversation with a friend off set, but on his terms. Jules tells him she is sorry for offending him, but Guy explains he will be asking the questions this time.

"You ready? We'll do a get to know Jules section. So Jules, you've got nice chairs and flowers and cameras and that everywhere and you've got your own show, how come now you're such a cow?"

Cutting Jules off he continues, "I took time out of my schedule today and here you are just ripping me to shreds."

Jules replies, "I’m not ripping you to shreds, these are facts!'"

Obviously annoyed, Guy responds, "Who did I marry? Who is this chick? What happened to the nice girl from Holden Hill in Adelaide that I married?"

Pretending to be his wife, Guy says, ""Oh I’ve got my own TV show now, I’m a cow!""

The interview concluded with the couple smirking at each other as Jules throws her interview notes at Guy and pretends to pour her tea on him.
