1. Married at First Sight‘s Clare Verrall calls out Sean Thomsen for insensitive comment about Eurydice Dixon.

When ex-Married At First Sight constestant Clare Verrall posted a tribute to Melbourne woman Eurydice Dixon on Instagram, an insensitive comment from a fellow MAFS contestant set her off.

The post, which has been shared widely, pointed out the flaws in placing the blame on victims and expecting women to be responsible for their safety.

Fellow MAFS contestant, 34-year-old Sean Thomsen commented on the post, writing “awesome!”

Clare quickly responded to her former co-star’s poorly worded comment.

“DUDE THIS HAS TO BE A BOT! Turn it off bro,” she wrote.

“@clare_verrall nah it’s not aye,” Sean replied.

“So your thought on the rape & murder of a woman walking home from the shops is ‘awesome!’ Um. What the f**k? Why on earth would you write that? Can you please elaborate, as at the moment I am struggling to understand why you would write such an abhorrent comment on this situation?” she wrote.

Sean has yet to respond.

According to The Fix, earlier this year, Clare revealed that she was sexually assaulted at 16 years old.

In 2015, she was left with a broken nose, a black eye and post-traumatic stress disorder after she was violently attacked while walking her dog in Melbourne.

2. Busy Philipps says her face wasn’t photoshopped on a magazine cover – despite fan’s claims.

When actress Busy Philipps shared a photo of her Health magazine cover, fans were quick to point out one missing feature.

But Busy was quick to suppress the rumours.

“They did NOT airbrush my moles,” Busy wrote.

Busy mentioned that although it was discussed on set, the team decided not to digitally remove her moles.

“The light was super bright which is why they look less dark. Promise you.”

At last, some positive Photoshop news.

Jada Pinkett Smith has spoken about the moment her daughter Willow walked in on her and Will Smith having sex while appearing on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday.

After the show revisited a clip of Willow candidly discussing walking in on her parents on Red Table Talk, a show in which Willow and Jada candidly discuss issues on camera, the 46-year-old actress shared the lesson she learnt from the ordeal.

In the clip, Willow says, "My introduction to sex was obviously walking in on you and Daddy" to which Jada replied "when the hell did you walk in on us?"

"I was going downstairs to get some juice and I saw for a little moment and I ran away. I was like, 'Oh my God, this is so crazy. What did I just see?'" responded her 17-year-old daughter, Willow.

"Lock your doors! Lock your doors. Lock. Your. Doors!" Jada exclaimed after the clip, laughing at the ordeal.

When asked about The Red Table, Jada says she never knows what she's going to learn about her daughter, as they don't review the topics before the show.

"I'm like, "Lord have mercy, what am I gonna learn about my child today?"

4. The British royal family are about to celebrate their first same sex marriage.

Well this is... unexpected.

The British royal family (you know the one with all the rules about pantyhose and what not) are about to celebrate their first same-sex marriage.

You see, Lord Ivar Mountbatten, a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II and a great-great-great grandson of Queen Victoria, plans to marry his partner, James Coyle, later this year.

Mountbatten, 55, came out publicly two years ago.

He was the first member of the British royal family to come out as openly gay.

Mountbatten met Coyle at a Swiss ski resort in 2016.

Before coming out, Mountbatten was married to Lady Penny Mountbatten for 16 years. The couple had three daughters together and divorced in 2011.

The former spouses are such great friends their daughters suggested that Lady Mountbatten walk Lord Mountbatten down the aisle later this year.

"It makes me feel quite emotional. I'm really very touched,” she told the Daily Mail.

5. “It was ridiculous.” The transformation of Carrie Bickmore’s relationship with her mother-in-law.

For many women, the words “mother-in-law” send a chill down the spine. Memories of Jane Fonda in Monster-In-Law might flood back, as you decide to quickly sweep the floor one more time. Just in case you missed a spot.
