‘A fast game’s a good game’, says queen WAG Megan, as she heads off on maternity leave.
Megan Gale is getting ready to become a mum for the first time and has shared photos of her baby prep.
Supermodel Megan Gale, 38, is starting her first week of work before taking time off to have her baby, due within weeks. Bubby’s dad is AFL Tigers player Shaun Hampson, 25.
On preparing for the birth, Megan says:
“It is one of those things where you can plan all you like but on the day, what is going to happen is going to happen.
“You just have to wing it at the end of the day while being as equipped and as educated as you can. Hopefully a quick game will be a good game, but we’ll see what happens.”
Megan’s last week of work will include the Melbourne Fashion Festival this week, working alongside fellow L’Oreal Paris ambassador Eva Longoria.
Partner Shaun will also be busy, with AFL season having just begun, but has promised to be by her side for the birth.
The she's off to finish decorating the nursery, which will be all about 'on safari'.
Last week Megan shared this shot (below) on her Instagram account of photos that will be covering the walls of her baby's nursery. She said:
"These are some of photos that are going in bubby's nursery. We've been planning an African animal / Safari theme for the nursery for a while now & we're almost there.
It's taken quite some time to go through all the beautiful images I was fortunate enough to be able to shoot when Shaun & I were in Africa, October 2012 & these are some of the best.
This trip formed part of our babymoon holiday in anticipation of conceiving & it was a very special time for us. Feeling quite maternal already, I was keen to take lots of shots of the baby animals like the rhino, hyena, elephant and adolescent lions & think they're the standouts & perfect for the room - cannot wait to get them hung in the nursery."
