Megan Gale has become the latest celeb to pose nude on a magazine cover. Except she’s done it while 30 weeks pregnant.
The cover shoot for the May issue of Marie Claire magazine is eerily reminiscent of the shoot Demi Moore did for Vanity Fair in 1991.
Despite her initial hesitations about doing something “that’s going to put people’s noses out of joint or create some kind of scandal,” the gorgeous Aussie went ahead and did it anyway.
The 38 year old supermodel revealed that the idea of doing a nude cover shoot was daunting for her. “I think any woman would know that when you’re in your mid 20s, things are firmer and perkier and just all round better ,” Gale said.
Ultimately though, it was Gale’s mother who encourged her to do the shoot.
“Part of it was that I like the whole concept of celebrating the pregnant form and that iconic shape that so many women have experienced,” she said.

Rounded shoulder. Strange expression. Meek head tilt. Not nearly as proud and defiant as Demi's. Demi's is a cultural snapshot and won't be topped because of the meaning attached to it at that point in time. Why copy something that's been done a hundred times? MG has never struck me as compelling or original. BTW Zoe Foster Blake's promo photograph in that Ginger and Smart dress is a hundred times more interesting and aesthetically pleasing!
