1. MAFS‘ Michael Goonan just gave weird hints about how the show ends.

Well.

Just hours before tonight’s final MAFS commitment ceremony, Michael has confirmed he is in a relationship…. but it might not be with Stacey or KC.

Speaking to Hit 105’s Stav, Abby & Matt earlier today, Michael announced he’s moved on with someone since the show finished filming. And it seems like it’s getting… pretty serious.

“I decided that single wasn’t the way to be. I have met someone I am with now and I would take a bullet for her. She is my world and I am really happy,” he said.

“It worked out for me in the end I guess. I am really happy and it’s a good feeling waking up and going, ‘Wow, how did this all work out for me?'”

Michael was also asked if his new girlfriend finds it difficult to watch the show (you know, because of the whole cheating scandal thing).

“At times it can be very challenging for any girl to watch that. Imagine going over to your boyfriend’s house, a year has gone by and he’s flicking through pictures of him and his ex on holiday in Bali … No one wants to see that!”

The news comes after Michael addressed the rumours yesterday that he hooked up with another MAFS bride, KC.

“Everyone keeps asking me if I’m with KC or if I’m not. Honestly, it’s getting fired at me that many times it’s ridiculous. I don’t honestly know where that came from,” he told Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam and Browny during a radio interview. 

So there we have it. We’ll find out which other couples call it quits or stay together when Married At First Sight returns at 7:30pm tonight on Nine.

2. Oh. Jared Leto was on a silent meditation retreat and just… completely missed the memo about coronavirus.

While news of the coronavirus has felt almost inescapable over the past two weeks, singer/songwriter Jared Leto completely missed news of the pandemic while he was on a silent meditation retreat… for 12 days, and wow.

In a Twitter thread yesterday, the 48-year-old actor shared that he had no idea what was happening outside of his retreat, and when he left, he walked “into a very different world”.

Wow. 12 days ago I began a silent meditation in the desert. We were totally isolated. No phone, no communication etc. We had no idea what was happening outside the facility.

“Mind-blowing – to say the least,” he wrote.

“I’m getting messages from friends and family all around the globe and catching up on what’s going on. Hope you and yours are ok. Sending positive energy to all.”

3. ‘You shouldn’t be saying these mean things.’ Britney Spears just shut down her trolls on social media.

Britney Spears has called out trolls for mocking her recent Instagram posts – and we are here for it.

The 38-year-old singer shared a post last night addressing the negative comments she has received about posting several pictures of herself in a white bathing suit.

In her post, she wrote: “I get really excited about my posts, and I like to share them with you all.”

She explained that she has “never owned a white bathing suit” and liked the red background.

“Reading all of the mean comments really hurts my feelings… Hard times like we are currently living through should really teach us to be nice to one another.”

“I wanted to share because you really shouldn’t be saying all of these mean things to someone you don’t even know.… this goes for bullying anyone really!!!!!!”

4. ‘How do you even plan for this?’ The Bachelor‘s Tara Pavlovic cancels her wedding amid COVID-19 fears.

Tara Pavlovic, who appeared on Matty J’s season of The Bachelor, has unfortunately had to cancel her wedding, which was apparently scheduled for some time in the next two weeks.

The 28-year-old reality star, who made it to the top five on the show, opened up to her 191,000 Instagram followers and sadly revealed she and her partner, Nick Shepherdson, were forced to make the decision.

“We decided today we had to postpone it just because of the coronavirus. I could not forgive myself if someone came to my wedding and got sick. It’s just not worth it, which is really, really sad.”

Tara relayed that she is “trying to do the right thing by everyone and not take the selfish road” as some of her guests were either elderly or vulnerable.

"'When you plan a wedding and put in that much effort and time and heart and soul and it just gets cancelled for some crazy reason, how do you even plan for this?" she continued.

Like Pavlovic, reportedly Bindi Irwin and her fiance Chandler Powell and Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozz may also need to put their weddings on hold due to the novel virus.

We're wishing any brides - including Pavlovic - all the very best in what can only be a very disheartening and sad time for them.

5. A baby on the way and a face tattoo: What Amanda Bynes' life is like in 2020.

It’s been almost a decade since Amanda Bynes announced her shock retirement from acting.

One day, she was one of Hollywood’s biggest young stars, and the next, lost down the dark path so many other child stars take.

Now, after years of shunning the public eye, the 33-year-old has opened up about her private life.

Last month, the now 33-year-old announced her engagement to her boyfriend of a few months, Paul Michael, who she met while attending Alcoholics Anonymous.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Bynes wrote: “Engaged to tha love of my life.”

In early March, however, Michael shared that the couple's relationship was over.

"We did," Michael said, confirming the split to In Touch. "I love her though, she's my best friend."

According to Us Weekly, Bynes was struggling following the sudden break-up.

"Amanda is really upset about it and not taking it well at all," a source told the publication.

But just a week after the pair announced their split, the pair's relationship was back on again.

And now, Bynes has shared that she's expecting her first child with Michael.

"Baby on board!" Bynes wrote, sharing her ultrasound photo on Instagram, which she has since removed.
