It’s confirmed: Nicky Hilton is set to wed. Nicky, 30, has been playing down the giant sparkler she’s been sporting on her wedding finger for weeks. But now the heiress has finally revealed she’s engaged to James Rothschild, with a snap of her ring which she posted to Instagram.
Nicky captioned the shot with "#engagementmoon in Paris #FlashbackFriday"
Us Weekly reported, "They went on a romantic anniversary trip. He took her out on a boat into the middle of Lake Como and he proposed, got down on one knee and everything. It was incredibly romantic and beautiful."
While Nicky remained tight lipped about her exciting news, her sister, Paris Hilton, 33, quickly took to twitter to congratulate her on her engagement.
After rumours of the engagement began circulating, The Daily Mail reported, "They are both really excited and incredibly happy. They are going on a road trip now throughout Europe and celebrating."
