The Spill: Wednesday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. The Bachelorette host Osher Günsberg just answered every question we’d ever wondered about the show.

For the past month, we’ve spent our Wednesday and Thursday nights watching Angie Kent on her journey to find love on The Bachelorette. And it’s all been worth it.

But we’ve also had a LOT of questions. Especially when rumours have been going around that The Bachelorette winner was promised $100K to stay with Angie for two years or that the bachelors have been blowing their $2000-a-day food allowance on expensive protein powders.

All of this speculation has had us wondering what really goes on behind the scenes of the show.

But now, Osher has answered every question we ever wondered on Twitter. And we couldn’t be happier.

The Bachie franchise is known for some pretty, erm… extreme dates, whether it be jumping out of a helicopter or abseiling down the side of a building. It’s some pretty scary stuff.

So, one Twitter user asked Osher if the contestants received training for physical activities and extreme dates.

When one Twitter user asked if contestants are “contractually obliged to undertake an activity once they accept a date”, Osher had a pretty hilarious reply.

On a more serious note, Osher was asked about the contestants’ mental health, more specifically, if they just talk to a producer when they are feeling upset or a qualified psychologist.

There were also a few questions about alcohol – like would The Bachelor or The Bachelorette ever go alcohol-free.

So there we have it, the behind-the-scenes goss isn’t actually as scandalous as some rumours would have us believe.

The Bachelorette returns tonight at 7:30 pm on Channel Ten.

2. “We went through a very difficult time.” The Veronicas’ Jess and Lisa open up about their feud.

This Sunday on MTV, viewers will get an inside look into the lives of Aussie singers Jess and Lisa Origliasso, as their reality TV show The Veronicas: Blood For Life airs its first episode.

Ahead of the show’s premiere, the twins spoke with news.com.au and revealed that there was a period when the two fell apart and completely cut off communication from one another.

“We as twin sisters have a bond that cannot really be explained to anybody else. We feel it in the deepest parts of who we are, and even in hard times… I guess somewhere we always knew that. But we went through a very difficult time where we weren’t communicating,” Lisa said.

“We weren’t in communication with each other.”

It is presumed that the sisters’ relationship became strained when Jess got back together with her now ex-girlfriend, Ruby Rose.

Apparently, it took Jess and Lisa until 2018 (coincidentally, the same year Jess and Ruby broke up) to get their relationship back on track.

Lisa said the time apart made them appreciate each other more, and realise how much they needed to be in each other’s lives.

“Our mum’s not been well, a lot of things happened around that time that put things into perspective,” she said.

“That makes us appreciate now what we have in our lives. Jess is engaged, I’m married.

“We have this unbreakable bond that’s really prevailed, and you definitely see on the show, we do talk about that journey.”

3. “I totally compromise.” Kim Kardashian candidly admits she and Kanye have had fights about his religious journey.

Kim Kardashian has appeared on US talk show The Real alongside her sisters Kourtney and Khloe, to discuss everything from Khloe’s relationship status (spoiler alert: she’s single and happy about it) to Kim’s parenting tactics since Kanye’s religious discovery.

When asked whether she supports her husband, Kanye West’s new spirituality, she said: “I do… I want to honour him and what he’s feeling. And he’s been going through this life change and it’s mostly about the kids.”

Kim explained that Kanye has become more strict with their kids.

“You know, the kids are getting older. He’s very cautious about what we have in the house and we got rid of TVs in the kids’ rooms and removed makeup from North’s room,” she explained.

The reality star opened up about not always agreeing with the rapper, saying: “There’s also that fine line of, you know, staying firm and doing what you feel comfortable with. And I take a little bit of him and I respect what he’s saying and I totally compromise.”

The 39-year-old spoke candidly about her own relationship with the new, more spiritual West, admitting that the pair have had disagreements.

“I’m always gonna be me… and so, we had that discussion and that fight.”

Would you believe it? Their marriage isn’t so far removed from our own.

As for the other famous contestants? Well, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Sharing some hints, Channel 10 have announced next year’s lineup includes an Australian comedian, an AFL legend, and a television personality, with names like Have You Been Paying Attention?‘s Sam Pang, Ed Kavalee, The Bachelor’s Osher Günsberg, or Survivor’s Simon Black, having been thrown into the mix.

5. An ode to sweet, long-haired larrikin Timm, who’s definitely not going to win The Bachelorette.

Ugh, as we near closer to the end of The Bachelorette we’re more and more worried for what’s to come.

Because it’s probably going to result in the tears of another confident, quirky long-haired man and after last week, we are still too fragile for that.

We need to talk about Timm, how much we love him and how he is definitely not going to be Angie Kent’s chosen man in two weeks time.

We first met Timm when he walked down the red carpet with the largest bouquet of sunflowers to ever exist, and while Angie was immediately interested, we were distracted by a Kmart Zac Efron and that slimy politician from Noosa.

Then drama started to happen in the first-ever cocktail party and we realised Timm with two Ms was a man we needed to know and love.

Instead of sitting around with the other dudes and talking about Jamie, who politician Jess alleged told Angie he didn't want a rose, Timm said they couldn't just talk about it behind his back and invited Jamie over to hash it out.

Emotionally mature, tick.

Read more about why we love Timm, in our earlier article here.
