Spring racing season is almost always laced with criticism and debate about the ethics of watching horses race for entertainment.
For Osher Gunsberg, that debate quickly took over his social media profiles when he shared photos from Derby Day over the weekend.
The TV presenter and radio host has been forced to respond to critics who claimed they were “confused” about why he would feel comfortable attending the races considering his vegan lifestyle.
“Never thought you’d support horse racing,” one fan wrote.
“I follow you because you’re a fellow vegan but I’m confused by your stance on this issue,” another argued.

Um I think dear Osher can say and do whatever he likes fellow commentators! I'd be more concerned that you 'look up' to celebrities for a way to follow your life. He works in media. It's a job.
He doesn't need to defend anything.
If anything, he seems like a pretty balanced human being to me.
It's these judgemental attitudes which alienates people from looking into making positive changes in their lives. In working for the cause, some people end up working directly and inadvertently against it. Where's the love girls?
When you vegan and look up to someone who also claims they are vegan. When they are not. It's disappointing. So you can expect backlash. Because one, you aren't vegan, standing behind your principals and staying that your vegan and it's ok, to go to,the races and support animal cruelty. what can you expect. Please don't say your vegan. Don't pronounce it, don't speak it. Please don't. I looked up to you. but celebs claim to be vegan to get brownie points. it's not on! :(
