Last night, I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here aired TV's most ridiculous fight.

It’s time to call it, a fight over a plum has to be the most ridiculous fight reality TV has served up to us in recent memory.

And, no, before you ask, the fight didn’t take place on My Kitchen Rules. Even though that’s a show  all about food.

It happened on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, a show seriously lacking in food, which makes the fight so much more deadly.

And to make it even worse, we still don’t know if the plum at the centre of the controversy even existed.

It all started with Natalie Bassingthwaighte trying to do Tziporah Malkah a solid, by suggesting Lisa Curry share her plum with Tziporah, because Tziporah was seemingly without a plum.

Stick with us here, it gets better.

Why Tziporah is our fave celeb on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Article continues…

Then, for reasons unknown, Tziporah took Natalie to task over allegations she had a plum, which she didn’t, which Natalie acknowledged, before asking why she didn’t have a plum because she had one that morning.

Did she eat it? DID SHE EAT IT?

Then, to make it EVEN WORSE, Natalie labelled Tziporah’s reaction “ridiculous” and Tziporah responded by saying “ridiculous” is not a word.

But…….it is a word, Tziporah. It really is.

Ridiculous: Stupid or unreasonable and deserving to be laughed at.

Why did a conversation about a plum get so out of hand, causing a massive rift to develop between Natalie and Tziporah?

A rift that continued later that day when Natalie tried to smooth things over with Tziporah, only to have the conversation about the plum continue and get even worse?

Could it be as co-host Dr. Chris suggested, that the cast are "detoxing" from sugar and caffeine and are understandably at each other's throats?

I don't think so, because not everyone is at each other's throats.

Could Tziporah's defensiveness be because she ate the plum?

Is Natalie overly involved in other people's conversations, as Tziporah accused her of?

Or is this partial starvation at play?

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here sure is making viewers question everything they've ever known about plums...and how these reality TV fights make it onto our screens.
