What do you buy the prince who has everything? This.

When the Pope met the Queen, he thought it would only be right to give her something for her great-grandson. But, what is it?

Who knew the Pope was such a good present giver? The Queen has been presented with a special gift to hand over to little Prince George and we’re all super jealous.

The Queen and Prince Philip accept little Prince George's orb from Pope Francis.

Pope Francis has met baby George's royal great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, 87,  in a rare catch-up which has seen the little Prince gifted with an incredibly special present.

The Pope handed over a royal lapis lazuli ( a deep blue precious stone) orb (an emblem of royal power) with a silver cross on top to

the Queen, after meeting her in person for the first time.

The British monarch was gifted with the bauble to hand over to Prince William and Duchess Kate's 8-month-old bub and in return presented Francis with a hamper full of British jams, whiskies and delicacies from the royal palace gardens.

Queen Elizabeth's trip is her first overseas tour since 2011. Dressed in lilac, wearing one of her trademark floral hats and accompanied by her husband, Prince Philip, 92, the Royal couple initially dined with the President of Italy, Giorgio Napolitano, 88 before arriving at the Vatican.

Pope Francis is only the fifth Pope to have personally met the Queen.

No doubt George will be making sure his great-grandma hands over the orb and doesn't keep it for herself. It would make an awesome teething toy.
