This is the gift Rachel Bilson wanted for her baby shower.

Rachel had her baby shower on the weekend, and we’re a little confused by her choice of gift.

Actress Rachel Bilson, 33, who is expecting a baby girl, celebrated her baby shower on the weekend in a very intimate affair.

The baby shower was held in a private home in L.A and attended by stars including Natalie Portman and Jaime King, as well as other close friends and family reports Us Weekly.

But what we’re all a little unsure of is Rachel’s unique choice of baby shower gifts.

“Instead of gifts, everyone brought a birth bead. Each person gave her a piece of advice and a blessing along with the bead. She will use the beads for strength during labour,” a source told Us Weekly.

As party favours, the Heart of Dixie star gave her guests tea and mints in adorable boxes with a tag attached that read, “Rachel & Baby, Mint to Be.”

“She’s so excited to be having a baby girl,” the source went on to say of the former O.C celebrity. “She’s wanted it for a long time and is going to be an amazing mum. Everyone is ecstatic for her.”

Rachel’s fellow Heart of Dixie cast member Jaime King, who has a 10-month-old son, James, has previously spoken about how the star would make a wonderful mum.

“Her best friend has a kid and she has a lot of friends with children, so I’m just there to support her however I can and honour and respect her processes. She loves James, she’s always bringing him toys. Just seeing her with my son, I know she’s going to be the best mother,” Jaime said.

This is Rachel’s first child with her boyfriend Hayden Christensen. The pair have been dating for 7 years.
