'Relentless criticism.' Sam Frost on why she really blocked Jackie O on Instagram.

From the moment Jackie ‘O’ Henderson revealed Sam Frost had blocked her on Instagram during KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show, everyone has been trying to figure out why.

You see, last Friday Sophie Monk was filling in for Kyle Sandilands on their radio show when Henderson told Monk, “Sam Frost has still not unblocked me.”

Monk then revealed that she had also been unfollowed by the fellow Bachelorette on Instagram.

“She used to follow me, that was one of them who’s unfollowed me. I don’t know what I’ve done wrong,” Monk said.

And neither did Henderson.

After all, Henderson and The Home and Away actress did appear to be friendly with each other – at least from the outside.

“She [Sam] used to come in all the time, I even did an Instagram post about how much I loved her when she’d just come off The Bachelorette – she was awesome,” Henderson said.

Henderson even referred to Frost as her ‘girl crush’ when they were recording in the studio back in 2015 for The Bachelorette.

But the reason why Frost decided to block Henderson was over something that happened well after her Bachelorette days.

And it was definitely no accidental slip of the thumb.

A spokesperson for Frost came forward and spoke to The Daily Telegraph, sharing that Frost wasn’t pleased with the criticism she received from Henderson and her radio partner Kyle Sandilands, while she was hosting their rival breakfast show with Rove McManus on 2Day FM.

“[The blocking] was done years ago when Sam was on radio,” the spokesperson said. “Kyle & Jackie O’s relentless criticism of Rove & Sam was detrimental to Sam’s mental health.”

Sam has been vocal about her mental health struggles recently and even launched a mental health platform for young women and girls alongside her sister called Believe by Sam Frost.

When The Daily Telegraph asked Henderson for a response, she said: “I’ve never had a bad word to say about Sam and have certainly never criticised her or her work. She’s a lovely person.”

It echoed what she had said earlier when Beau Ryan asked if she had ever “talked shit” about Frost. Henderson responded saying, “Kyle did and I never say anything bad. I don’t know why she’s blocked me.”

Indeed back in 2016, Kyle Sandilands was very vocal about what he thought about Rove and Sam’s show after their ratings had failed to improve.

“In all honesty, if you worked over at [Southern Cross] Austereo and you had those Rove McManus figures… it’s just a joke,” Kyle said.

“I just don’t understand why they’ve even got anyone advertising on their station. No one’s listening, no one cares, why bother advertising?”

In the segment, Jackie O sounds uncomfortable and does her best to wrap up the conversation, saying, “Oh okay… well… interesting way to end the show.”

“That’s just what I honestly think. It’s a bloody waste of time,” Sandilands added.

While we may never know exactly what Henderson said to make Frost block her, we do know that comments were made between 2015 and 2017, when Sam and Rove’s show aired.
