Samantha Armytage is "stalked" on a daily basis.

She’s being followed everywhere.

Samantha Armytage has become a mainstay of gossip columns since she was promoted to co-host of Channel 7’s Sunrise two years ago.

Armytage, 37, knew that with the bigger job, she could expect greater scrutiny and attention – but she never expected to be stalked every moment she’s outside her home.

A Channel 7 exec told the AAP that the morning TV star can’t even attend a funeral without being snapped by paparazzi.

Everywhere Armytage goes, from the supermarket to the USA, there’s a photographer there to document it.

Since taking the job, Armytage has found every aspect of her life examined, from her weight to her fashion choices to her love life.

It’s intense.

“I wasn’t expecting that level of attention, so it’s taken a little bit of getting used to,” Armytage told the AAP.

This engagement was a complete surprise to Armytage, who posted the New Idea cover to her Instagram account with the caption: “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA”.

She’s been linked with every man she’s seen with, from Russell Crowe to Modern Family‘s Eric Stonestreet.

She even had to announce that’s she’s a “size 12 with big boobs” and that “we all need to get over that.”

Armytage has just ditched her agent, Sharon Finnigan, and is planning to go it alone and represent herself.

“People are interested in your private lives and what you might be going through but there’s lots to me and people only seem to be interested in the weight or who I am dating,” she said.
