Tessa James supports her husband from the Origin crowd, cancer-free and smiling.

She’s celebrating four months cancer-free.

Tessa James wrapped up for last night’s State of Origin to support her Queensland NRL player husband Nate Miles, 29.

The 24-year-old, who completed chemotherapy treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma on February 25 this year, was beaming, despite the result not being so fantastic for her husband.

With her sister Candy, the former Home and Away star watched as the Maroons lost to rivals NSW, but it’s unlikely to have wiped the grin off her face.

She looked healthy and excited just four months after her successful cancer treatment.

James, who is best known for playing Nicole Franklin on Home and Away from 2008 until 2011, was pursuing an acting career in the US when she became ill.

She returned home to be with Myles and receive treatment.

Hodgkin’s lymphoma is most common in adolescents and young adults, with over a third of all sufferers diagnosed between 15 and 30.

It’s the same disease that struck Delta Goodrem when she was 18.
