Aussie Bachelorette series tipped - but who should it be?

Channel Ten is staying very quiet about it, but rumours are rife that an Aussie series of The Bachelorette is on the cards.

And with revelations that The Bachelor’s Blake unceremoniously dumped his fiancee, Sam, just weeks after professing his enduring love during a proposal in South Africa, we think it’s the perfect time to put a woman in the driver’s seat.

The US Bachelorettes tend to be contestants from previous series of The Bachelor, so the network execs will have plenty to choose from.

The Daily Telegraph is saying that Sam Frost is the obvious front-runner. Sam has told The Project in an interview set to run on Monday night that she feels “played” by “jackass” Blake, so would definitely bring some experience to the Bachelorette pad. Fan faves and finalists Lisa Hyde, Louise Pillidge or last year’s runner-up Rochelle Emanuel-Smith could also be in the running.

But for us there’s one contestant who stands out.

One woman whose poise, glamour and discernment would make her the ideal star of her own series.

One woman who is just as likely to hand out a mint as hand out a rose.
