Peaches Geldof's widower has moved on, with one of her closest friends.

Peaches Geldof’s widower, Thomas Cohen, and her close friend, Daisy Lowe, have been photographed kissing in London.

Geldof died two years ago at the age of 25, leaving Cohen, now 25, to bring up their two young sons, Astala and Phaedra.

Cohen has largely remained out of the media spotlight since his wife’s death, but is still close to the Geldof family and friends he shared with Peaches.

Lowe and Cohen reportedly became close during a holiday in Miami over New Years with a bunch of other rich young Brits including Rita Ora, Alexa Chung, and Peaches’ sister, Pixie.

Tabloids in the UK are crowing over the couple, who were snapped holding hands and kissing while walking Lowe’s dog in Camden.

“He has known Daisy for years, but they are a lot closer since the holiday in Miami. It’s been great for Thomas’s friends to see him looking happy again,” a source told the Daily Mirror.

“He is still so young, yet he has been bringing up two children on his own.”

It must be odd for both of them to have the memory of Peaches and her tragic death hovering over them, and wondering if she would approve of their relationship.

Lowe told told InStyle last year that Peaches is often on her mind.

“I think about her a lot. She’s very missed. Very loved. And I hope that she’s happy… happy up there.

“I still think I see her, or songs will come on and I will go, ‘I swear that you just put that on’.”

Cohen is preparing to release his debut solo album on May 6, called Bloom Forever.

He was previously the lead singer of a band called S.C.U.M.
