The three things Tori Spelling's getting slammed for on this photo.

People can be so mean.

Tori Spelling posted a photo to Instagram – wearing lingerie just before bed time. It seemed harmless, slightly pervy but just like a lot of bathroom selfies that people take all day, every day.

The 42-year-old captioned the photo, “Luv summer nights! Got the kids 2 bed & Loving my #Nightlift Finally a bra that is super comfortable & cute & fights the sag while U sleep! @good_nightlift.”

While the close up of her eye in the forefront mirror is slightly off putting, the rest of the image seems normal - yes sexy - but 'good on her' type sexy. If you got it, flaunt it.

However, that's not what a lot of her followers thought. The photo received a lot of backlash and huge outcry from Spelling's 'fans'.

Firstly, she was attacked for posting inappropriately sexy images considering she is a mum.

It seems that many of her followers were concerned about Spelling's kids, Finn, Liam, Stella and Hattie McDermott. Because (shock horror) how could a MOTHER even consider being sexy still...

And while everyone is entitled to their own opinion, we believe that mums have every right to be sexy - if you've got it (because we all do) then flaunt it. It's your body - your choice.

Other fans had a go at the 90210 actress about the fact that boob jobs don't sag (she's apparently had a boob job), so she should have no need for a bra that helps with sagging.

This leads to the third thing that Spelling was getting attacked over from her followers, and that was the fact that she was promoting a product.

The fact that she was advertising a product on her social media platform seemed to upset a lot of people (even though many stars are paid to promote products on their social media accounts).

There's not a lot that people liked about the photo. Poor Spelling can't seem to catch a break. And while it can be annoying to see product placement constantly in your social media feed - this is the reality of online media.

If someone chooses to have plastic surgery to change their body, they are entitled to that and don't deserve to be attacked for it. And most importantly - a mother has a right to feel (and be) sexy if she wants to. There is nothing overly inappropriate about this photo - it is a woman - a mother - in her underwear in the bathroom.

Let's stop the shaming.
