She’s an infamous style icon, so of course we want to see what Victoria Beckham is selling.
She’s one of the most stylish women in the world and now, Victoria Beckham is selling pieces from her wardrobe for charity. Victoria has paired up with theoutnet.com to sell 600 items of clothing in aid of the charity, mother2mothers.
Victoria visited South Africa in February this year when she was invited by Vogue editor Anna Wintour to meet with mothers2mothers founder Dr. Mitch Besser. Victoria says after spending just a few days there, she was so moved by the charity that she wanted to do something to help their cause.
“After spending just a few days with these remarkable women and learning more about the charity from Mitch, and his lovely wife Annie Lennox, I wanted to do as much as I could. It really was a life-changing experience; I’ve never experienced anything like it” Victoria said in speaking about the cause.
“I have never met such strong women in my entire life. The work they are doing is nothing short of absolutely remarkable” Victoria told Grazia.
So with the help of her mum and sister, Victoria went through her wardrobe and chose pieces from her Spice Girls days, to items that she wore out with David to put up for sale.
“I laughed a lot when we were going through my wardrobe as the pieces hold so many happy memories for me, David and the children. A lot of the clothes have been specially designed for me by the most talented designers and I’ve loved wearing them, however I now feel it’s someone else’s turn to enjoy them” Victoria said.
