Fluff: Of course Victoria Beckham does the gardening without pants on. Of course.

We never thought we’d see Victoria Beckham gardening. But we have, and it’s exactly what we expected. Right down to her cashmere socks.

The 40-year-old former Spice Girl channelled her inner gardening goddess in the cover-shoot for August’s UK Vogue:

Taking inspiration from past ‘Ladies of the Manor’, Vogue thought it would be a good idea to put Posh Spice in a tweed hat, a cashmere jumper, cashmere socks and Hunter Wellington boots. And no pants.

In the garden. Sitting on a rock.

YES. NO PANTS.

Because FASHUN.

Despite the fact that it would be very uncomfortable gardening with no pants on, and sitting on a cold rock with no pants on, and basically doing anything out-doorsy with no pants on, the mum of 4 plays the part rather well. Right down to the solemn look on her face. (But then again, maybe that’s because she’s wearing no pants).

The fashion designer talked to Vogue about turning 40, saying: ” I looked at it (turning 40) and said to myself, I have four incredible children, an incredible husband, a business that’s doing very well.  I’ve worked hard and achieved a lot. I don’t think I could have achieved much more…”

Well said Vic, and now you can tick ‘gardening with no pants’ off the list as well.
