Late last year, actress Ada Nicademou split from her husband of nine years, Chrys Xipolitas, after a tumultuous marriage. But it appears the couple have successfully moved on, with Chrys giving his blessing to Ada’s new relationship on Facebook on Wednesday.
Just hours earlier, news broke that Ada had found love with another partner, businessman and CEO, Adam Rigby. And Chrys was quick to express his support for the couple.
“Yes, it is true that Ada has found a new interest. Yes I am totally fine with it,” wrote the restaurateur. “I wish her the best of luck with any future relationships. She deserves all the happiness in the world. Time heals all wounds.”
Chrys also reinforced that he doesn't think it's necessary for both of them to find new love in order to be happy, sharing a number of photos of himself with Ada in the post.
The two have a four-year-old son, Johnas, but in 2014 their second son, Harrison, was tragically stillborn. Ada was open about the affect their loss had on their marriage, saying, "we will never be the same people we once were. I just feel I can never be completely happy again because this has happened."
It's thought that they struggled to maintain their relationship after such a devastating loss.
