Rosa Mundi was sitting in a Tube carriage in London on New Year’s Eve when a fellow passenger pried open an age-old debate.
A man was overheard telling the woman he was with to stop applying her makeup, and to add to the public humiliation, described the act as “vulgar”.
Then, in a show of Hollywood-standard-solidarity, every woman in the carriage began applying their own.
Bloke has just told the woman he’s with not to put makeup on on the Tube. Every other woman in the carriage is now fixing their makeup.

The amount of times i have been inconvenienced by a mans leg spread when i'm trying to find some space for myself on the seat next to them, or the smell from peoples armpits, or the smell of food when people eat on the bus or train which absolutely makes me want to vomit first thing in the morning and is seriously inconsiderate, or the creepy staring people in general ... i really believe THOSE are the people that should be targeted for their behavior, not some woman who's chosen to shakily apply eye liner on the bus. If you don't want to watch her put makeup on, then look away! I don't get offended or angry every time i see a man scratch his ball sack in public (which also not something i'd like to witness and should probably be done in private as it's very unbecoming for a man... :-/ see what i did there?) so i think everyone needs to think about their priorities a little bit. it's a stupid argument. what's next? If i put my hair back in a ponytail will someone get offended?
No fricken way. Why is every article lately written as if all women, or men for that matter, think the same??!!
I put make up on. Depending on the situation the amount varies. I'm over the age where I give a shit about contouring and stuff like that. I don't actually have a 'feeling' toward it to be honest.
However....some people love it. My daughters for example. 15 and 22 years and they love it. Whatever, we're different. But personal grooming is PERSONAL. It doesn't need to be fine in public!
This is such a non-newsworthy event and honestly, the subjects I'm starting to see have me wondering if we should introduce a licence to publish. These days any old thing gets a platform and tiny, inconsequential subjects become a drama. Ridiculous.
