If there’s one thing we know about Ariana Grande, it’s that she has an enviable ponytail.

She’s also proven herself to be incredibly resilient, and is an extremely talented musician.

The change follows the release of Ariana Grande’s hit single Thank U, Next, an iconic ballad to her ex-fiance Pete Davidson, her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, and two other ex-boyfriends.

Ariana Grande has openly discussed that she had hair extensions following the bi-weekly dying of her hair as Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon shows Victorious and Sam & Cat. 

“My real hair is back to brown and I wear extensions but I wear it in a pony tail because my actual hair is so broken that it looks absolutely ratchet and absurd when I let it down,” she wrote in a Facebook post in 2014.

“I tried wigs, they looked RIDICULOUS. Tried a weave because I am working on a new project and want to try some different looks and literally wanted to rip my scalp off. So as annoying as it is for y’all to have to look at the same hair style all the time, it’s all that works for now (AND I’m comfortable for the first time in years),” she added.

Whoever was doing Ariana’s hair extensions deserves a million beers.
