LEIGH CAMPBELL: 'Want to tint your brows at home? Use these 3 products under $20.'

If you're a lady with hair above your eyes, chances are you often get them snipped, shaped and maybe even tinted. But golly — brow care takes an awful lot of commitment (and money!) to keep them looking fresh.

The good news? At Mamamia, we're all about skimping wherever we can when it comes to spending on beauty, and we have the solution for people looking for something quick and easy to do at home (without risking looking like Bert & Ernie).

On a recent episode of You Beauty, a soon-to-be mum called Emily asked our hosts for any good recommendations for at-home brow tints.

And goodness, did Leigh Campbell deliver.

So, we thought we'd share 'em with you, too! Below you'll find the only products you'll ever need to dye your brows at home (spoiler: they're both under $20 from Woolies.)

1000 Hour Eyelash and Brow Dye Kit, $19.99.

This is one of the most popular brow products for good reason, friend.

"At-home brow tints? Easy! Get 1000 Hour Eyelash and Brow Dye Kit. It is the world's first at-home brow kit and it's so popular," said Leigh.

"It's $19.99 but at the time of recording I'm looking at it on Priceline and it's $13.99."

We love a good bargain!

As someone who's tried it myself, I can report that it's SO quick and easy to use. Completely foolproof. The results look lovely and natural and last up to six weeks. Also, there's 12 applications per pack, so it'll last you for agesss. Pretty good for $20!

Refectocil Lash & Brow Tint, $14.64.

"I've wanted to try this forever but haven't so if you've got time on maternity leave (lol - time on mat leave!), it's called Refectocil Lash & Brow Tint."

"It's one of those industry ones that they actually use in salon," she added. (AKA, it's the real deal!).

According to the website, you mix the solution to create your individual lash and brow shade. The colour lasts up to six weeks and can be used on both lashes and brows. Sounds pretty good!

Just For Men Moustache & Beard, $15.49

"My brow person gave me a tip because my eyebrows are really patchy," said Leigh. "She said use men's beard or hair dye like a semi, also it's more of a dye. But obviously you're washing your face and stuff. It doesn't last as long as hair dye but it lasts a lot longer than a tint."

"I've done it. It's so good. The one I use is called it Just For Men Moustache & Beard, $15.49, in dark brown. Guess what? It's not just for men."

Take that, marketing fluff!

Importantly, Leigh said to also keep in mind what your colouring is when it comes to choosing your shade. "Make sure you look up the colour shades, but there's not that many to choose from in terms of tints."

So, there you have it. Happy brow tinting!
