Bruce Jenner has been sued over fatal car crash.

It was a shocking incident – and it may end up in the courts.

The fatal car accident involving Bruce Jenner took place in February of this year in Malibu, California.

Witnesses said the accident occurred at the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Corral Canyon Road and involved four cars. A woman named Kim Howe was killed and five others were taken to hospital.

February was not good on the roads for the Kardashian-Jenner clan: Kim Kardashian, North West and Kylie Jenner in car crash.

People has confirmed that a lawsuit has been filed against Jenner by the two stepchildren of Kim Howe, who was killed in the accident. People reports the lawsuit claims that Jenner was “negligent, careless and reckless.” According to Time the suit is for wrongful death.

Original reports suggested that paparazzi may have been involved, causing the accident by pursuing Jenner and forcing him to drive recklessly.

It’s been a big year for Bruce Jenner: “For all intents and purposes, I am a woman”

The claims were later disproven.

“As of right now, there is no indication that Bruce Jenner was being chased by paparazzi at the time of the crash,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lt. John Lecrivain said.

“There was a possibility that paparazzi was following him at the time of the crash, but that is a very regular occurrence, and (there is) no indication at this time it was a contributing factor of the crash.”

People have suggested it is unlikely Jenner will serve any jail time, but he will have to pay a substantial legal fine.
