Celebrities are losing their goddamn minds in isolation and we need to talk about their... content.

Right now, there are many words to describe what is going on in the world.

Weird is one of the more understated ones, but for the purpose of this story it’s going to be the one I use… and my god, things are weird right now.

We’re all struggling, moving from our homes to our homes… for work, learning TikTok dances in our spare time, and just sort of… sitting there, with our minds.

Celebs are getting… creative in isolation. Post continues below video.

If it’s any solace (it’s not), we’re not the only ones losing it.

Celebrities are slowly unravelling right alongside us, but in their cases they’ve decided to share the deepest, darkest parts of their minds with literally millions of people on social media.

Most of it is like a car crash: Bad, like really bad, but oh my god we can’t look away and some of it – like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s donkeys – is the exact kind of wholesome we need right now.

And then there’s the infamous ‘Imagine’ video.

Joined by major celebs like Natalie Portman, Amy Adams and Will Ferrell, Wonder Woman actress, Gal Gadot, put together a video of her and her famous pals singing the John Lennon song, and uploaded it to Instagram.

Basically, Gadot was six days into quarantine and feeling “philosophical”. If you can sit through three minutes of straight up cringe, go right ahead:

If not, all you need to know is that it really is… something.

On the opposite end of the ‘celebs doing weird things in isolation’ spectrum, Ellen DeGeneres made a video of herself FaceTiming Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.

Basically, all three of them are bored at home.

She had previously called Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, who were doing nothing. Again… same.

Over in January Jones’ world, she thought we’d be interested in learning about her detox bubble bath.

It includes essential oil, apple cider vinegar, and literally an entire box of baking soda. She calls it “human stew” and look – no comment.

Their former co-star Vanessa Hudgens was criticised last week after telling her followers she thought officials estimating the outbreak might last until July sounds like “a bunch of bullsh*t” during an Instagram Live.

“It’s a virus, I get it. Like, I respect it. But at the same time, like, even if everybody gets it, like, yeah, people are gonna die, which is terrible but, like, inevitable?” Hudgens said in her livestream.

She apologised the next day, saying she realised her words were insensitive and inappropriate and then uploaded this very relatable version of the HSM dance.

I know what you’re thinking: Where’s Zac Efron? Sigh. It seems like he’s self-isolating without the need to share on social media which is highly inconvenient for the rest of us.

But you know who is using social media very well? Sam Neill, and for that we must be eternally grateful.

Ryan Reynolds was beautifully self-aware in a video asking Canadians to stay at home, after being asked to help by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Some celebs have decided to give their songs the 'COVID' treatment, which basically means switching up the words to say things along the lines of "STAY INSIDE OR ELSE".

Britney Spears has been spreading ~good vibes~ saying she wants to lift the "frequency" of fans to "a higher ground" by sharing yoga poses on Instagram.

She also promised to help three fans throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, with food or whatever other products and services they require.

Oh, and she shared a post about "redistributing wealth" and "striking", so it turns out Toxic might have been about capitalism?
