Charlotte Crosby partied on our TV screens for five years. She's about to give birth to her first child.

Charlotte Crosby was a fixture on the hit MTV reality show Geordie Shore for over five years.

In 2011, she came onto the scene and instantly became a favourite alongside the likes of Holly Hagan, Vicky Pattison and Gaz Beadle.

It wasn't long until she pivoted from MTV to Celebrity Big Brother in 2013 and won the season.

While it's been over a decade since we first met Charlotte, her life has been a mixture of extreme highs and blowing lows.

Here's everything we know about the Georgie Shore alum.

Charlotte Crosby's rise to fame.

Originally from Sunderland in England, Charlotte didn't just become popular among those her age when Geordie Shore premiered. Instead, she developed a keen fanbase fascinated with her every move.

While on Geordie Shore: Their Story in 2021, she admitted her mother was horrified after learning she'd be going on a reality show.

"The day I walked in and said 'Mam... I'm going on Geordie Shore....oh I wish I took a picture of her face," she explained. "It was hilarious! She was like... 'You can't go on some stupid TV show. I don't want you to, you can't do it.'"

The reality star made an instant impression during the first episode when she had one too many drinks and went home with her then-housemate, Gaz.

While Charlotte became famous overnight, she didn't exactly leave the best impression on the people who she lived with, as she gained quite the reputation for wetting the bed after a particularly heavy night. However, she was able to turn her love for partying into a lucrative business. Soon after Geordie Shore became a hit, she began scoring club hosting gigs, fashion contracts and several fitness DVDs.

She was also given a number of presenting roles on MTV shows including The Charlotte Crosby Experience, Just Tattoo of Us and most recently her very own reality TV show following her life and family, The Charlotte Show.

In 10 short years, she amassed a following of over 13 million people across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube.

While she walked away from Geordie Shore in 2016, fans didn't forget her relationship saga with the show's notorious "f**kboy", Gaz.

While things were uncertain between the pair for years, they continued on with their relationship outside of the show until it was revealed Gaz had cheated on Charlotte with other women – including Jemma Lucy – while filming another TV show called Ex On The Beach.

What sealed the deal for Charlotte was the fact she suffered an ectopic pregnancy while he was in Thailand and as a result, received no support from him.

An ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy that grows outside of the womb and in her podcast Always OnCharlotte revealed the details surrounding the demise of their relationship.

While Charlotte was in the hospital, she recalled not being able to get in touch with Gaz as his phone had been taken away from him. After requesting he contact her, she said: "They were like, 'Yeah we’ll let Gary have his phone back once a day.'"

"But then in the back of my mind, I think every girl will know this, you don’t want to tell them to come home. But you want them to be there. But you want them to do that off their own back."

She continued: "You want them to be like, 'I need to leave this show now, I want to get on the first flight home and be by the side of the girl that I apparently care so much about.'

"But that just never happened. And he carried on filming."

While they were away from each other, Charlotte explained he'd insisted he hadn't cheated on her. "Obviously that was a lie. Because when it came on the telly shortly afterwards," she said.

Eventually, according to the reality star, the phone calls stopped coming.

"We just stopped speaking. The phone calls stopped and that was it really," she explained. "I didn’t want anything to do with him. It was like, 'How do I even do that?'... I lost organs in my body, and you weren’t even there."

While it's been six years since the traumatic ordeal, Charlotte said they have managed to speak a few times but she still hasn't forgiven him.

"I haven’t forgiven him, but it kind of is what it is and I don’t hold a grudge against him anymore... As stupid as it sounds, it would be nice to be friends probably again," she said.

However, the fallout from the experience did lead to Charlotte quitting Geordie Shore once and for all.

"Sadly because a certain someone can’t admit to being in the wrong and have to write a short story full of excuses," she said in a heated Twitter post. "I have made the very hard decision to leave the show, it’s something I have gone back and forth with for a while now. But I am willing to sacrifice that part of my career in order to be well away from a liar and a cheat."

Charlotte Crosby's short-lived romance with Ryan from MAFS.

After a string of failed relationships, Charlotte enjoyed a stint in the South African jungle on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Australia. It's where she connected with Ryan Gallagher, who starred in the fifth season of Married At First Sight.

While they had messaged one another and developed a flirty relationship outside of the jungle, the pair quickly hit it off while inside.

After exiting the show, Charlotte told OK! Magazine she'd been surprised with a date to watch whales in Port Stephens for their Valentine's Day reunion.

"I want to marry him and have his babies," she said at the time.

Unfortunately for the pair, "reality hit pretty quickly".

"Everything is obviously so isolated in the jungle and all of your emotions run at a high," Ryan told Now To Love.

"While we were great in there, when we got out reality hit pretty quickly. It was clear it was never going to work. We are two very different people who also live on opposite sides of the earth."

While speaking to 10 Daily, Charlotte said she still loved Ryan "to bits" but considered him just a friend.

"When me and Ryan came out of the jungle I made no secret that I had been in a very long relationship and wasn't ready to jump into another one," she said.

"I still wasn't looking for something serious, he's at a stage in his life where he is – so we came to a mutual decision that we'd just cool it off."

Where are Gaz Beadle and Charlotte Crosby now?

Since their public breakup, both Gaz and Charlotte have moved on.

Gaz is now married to model Emma McVey, who he met in 2016. They have two children together, Chester and Primrose. In true Gaz style, the pair did have very public scandals. In 2017, Emma branded her partner as a "liar" and a "cheat" in a furious post claiming he had dumped her over text.

She later went on to label him a "selfish narcissist", claiming he had continually cheated on her throughout the relationship, and ordered her to move out of the home they shared together.

The pair quickly got back together a month later though and later that year, they announced their first pregnancy.

In a Youtube video posted in 2022, Gaz shared he is enjoying his new life with his wife and two children.

"I love being a dad. I love having a family, waking up in the morning and having the kids there. I've had, and I've been very lucky, that perfect transition," he said. "I do feel sorry for some people that went the other way, but it's easily done. Fair play to anyone who's been on reality TV and done well because it's not easy. I feel proud of myself to be where I am. I've got a few businesses and I just crack on."

These days, Charlotte is enjoying life with her new boyfriend Jake Ankers, who she began dating in late 2021 after reportedly meeting through mutual friends.

In April, she announced she was pregnant with her current partner and later revealed the gender of her unborn child to be a girl.

"A moment I wasn’t sure would ever be mine is here, it’s mine (and Jake's) and I couldn’t be happier to be sharing it with you all……I'm having a baby," she wrote.

In a recent post, Charlotte shared she was "grateful" for their relationship, writing: "He's always planning things and wanting to make special time for me. Feel f**king grateful for the man I will one day call my husband. The man my daughter will call her father. A different breed. My soulmate. Every single road led me right to [him]."

While it's been over six years since we last saw the reality star on Geordie Shore, she's made it clear she will always be part of the spin-offs and reunions.

During the Geordie Shore spin-off Ten Years On The Toon, Charlotte described how painful it was for her to leave the show.

"It was very, very hard," she explained. "Geordie Shore was my life and I still hold so many fond memories. That's why I'll always say I'll go back for a reunion ...always, always, always... Cause I'll never turn my back on it. It's the best years of my life."
