A teenager posed for a photo with Cristiano Ronaldo. Then fans noticed a very rude detail.

When you’re getting a photo with arguably the world’s most well-known soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo, it’s understandable to be a little bit… distracted.

That’s likely what happened to 18-year-old Raoul Bellanova, who plays for Milan, and recently had the opportunity to meet his sporting idol.

You see, on the weekend, Bellanova’s team played against Ronaldo’s, and lost. But Bellanova, being the committed fan he is, decided to go to the opposition’s change room to get a photo with the 33-year-old. He then shared the photo with some friends, who went on to share it… over and over again.

At first, it looks like any other photo. Ronaldo has his shirt off, which is lovely for all of us, and his young fan is clearly very excited to be meeting him.

But then, well. Then… there’s the background.

Where to Bellanova’s right, you can clearly see a man doing what change rooms are designed for: changing.

The poor man.

His name is Giorgio Chiellini and he's the captain for Juventus and Italy and WHY DID NO ONE CHECK IF HE HAD PANTS ON WHEN THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN.

Obviously, once fans noticed there was a PENIS in Bellanova's photo, it was deleted, and Bellanova issued an apology. Translated, it reads:

"I am deeply sorry for what came out on social media at this time. I apologize first of all with Giorgio Chiellini, it was not my intention.

"I assure him and all the football fans that I just took a picture with a great champion, but I did not post anything on my social media, nothing on my profile nor on my stories, nor would I do it after a defeat, the smile of photo is for making a little dream.

"I made the only mistake, which I regret, that I shared the photo with some friends, who shared it, without having checked it first."

In terms of the photo gaining traction, it probably doesn't help that Cristiano Ronaldo is quite literally the most followed person on Instagram, with 145 million followers. Needless to say, there's an interest in photos that have him in it. Especially when there's a penis in the background.

The father-of-four is currently embroiled in a lawsuit after Kathryn Mayorga, 34, accused him of raping her in a Las Vegas hotel room in June, 2009. She alleges that she was paid $375,000 to keep quiet.

Responding to the allegations on Twitter, Ronaldo said:

“I firmly deny the accusations being issued against me. Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in.

“Keen as I may be to clear my name, I refuse to feed the media spectacle created by people seeking to promote themselves at my expense.

“My clear conscious [sic] will thereby allow me to await with tranquillity the results of any and all investigations.”

His lawyer says what happened between Ronaldo and Mayorga was "completely consensual".
