Drew Barrymore and Justin Long were together for 3 years. Here's what their lives look like now.

More than 10 years after their breakup, exes Drew Barrymore and Justin Long have reunited for the first time.

For the season three premiere of The Drew Barrymore Show, Long joined the daytime television host to discuss his upcoming film, Barbarian. But first, the actors and former couple caught up.

"I love that we've maintained our love," Long told Barrymore. "I know that from my end, it'll never go anywhere. I will love you always."

Barrymore got teary and agreed: "I will always love you so much. You were so important to me."

"I feel like we've been through so much together, too," the Santa Clarita Diet actress continued.

"When we used to talk and FaceTime I was always like, 'You know, I've really grown up Justin.' I always wanted to prove to you what a different person I was than when we dated."

Long replied: "You were the best."

Barrymore and Long started their relationship in August 2007.

They dated for three years and starred in two films together - Going the Distance and He's Just Not That Into You - before breaking up in 2010.

Barrymore called the period "chaos" but "hella fun".

"We had so much fun but we were more hedonistic. A little more immature," the 47-year-old said. "We would get together, we would break up. It was chaos, it was hella fun."

"Fun chaos," Long, 44, replied.

From new relationships to divorce, here's what Drew Barrymore and Justin Long's lives look like now.

Drew Barrymore.

One year after their breakup, Barrymore began dating her longtime friend, actor and art consultant Will Kopelman. They got engaged in December 2011 and married in California six months later.

Barrymore was pregnant with their eldest daughter, Olive, at the time.

They went on to have another daughter, Frankie, in 2015.

"Honestly, I don’t know how it is for other couples, but I like watching him be a father," Barrymore told People following Frankie's birth.

"I know everyone says you're supposed to put your couple-dom first. But I really love it being all about the kids. Maybe that's my compensating for not having parents myself or a childhood, but right now, the focus is about how we’re figuring things out as parents."

In 2013, Barrymore launched her makeup line, Flower Beauty. And in April 2016, she and Kopelman announced their plans to divorce.

"Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on," their statement said.

"Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority."

Their divorce was finalised in August 2016.

Since their split, Barrymore and Kopelman have maintained a close relationship and co-parent their daughters, who they mostly keep off social media and out of the public eye.

In 2018, Barrymore told Entertainment Tonight she'd given dating apps a go, but it didn't work out.

"I got off [dating apps]. It was fun to try though. I've been working out there in the public since I was young so that myth of the blind date eluded me and I always wanted to do it so that was like a dating app for me," Barrymore explained.

"But then it's not blind on my side so it just, I don't know, doesn't work."

And in 2020, the actress said she has no time for dating.

"I'm not closed for business but I have been in exactly that mentality for the last five years thinking, I just don't have the bandwidth, I just can't fit it in," she told Jane Fonda on The Drew Barrymore Show.

On March 11, 2021, Barrymore announced she was taking an indefinite hiatus from acting, with her focus these days being her talk show, makeup line and various other ventures.

"If I'm being honest, the answer is no," Barrymore said when asked about making a comeback.

"I don't want to be on a film set right now, but that could change when my kids are older."

Justin Long.

Since their split, Justin Long has continued to act, making a movie almost every year. He's also dated other famous women.

In 2013, the now-44-year-old started dating Amanda Seyfried. The Dropout actress reached out to him after seeing something funny on his Instagram feed.

The couple dated for two years but "grew apart", according to sources.

From 2016 to 2018, Long dated CHVRCHES lead singer Lauren Mayberry.

They broke up after Mayberry denied they were ever in a relationship. Yep, awkward.

And now, he's dating Kate Bosworth

During the early months of 2021, Bosworth and Long filmed the movie, House of Darkness, in Arkansas. After they wrapped, the actress thanked her co-star for his support.

"Holy moly @justinlong you are a truly spectacular/fun/funny/kind/rare/thoughtful/totally. fckn. rad human being," she wrote.

"THANK YOU for lifting us up... you kept it light and full of laughter daily, even through the toughest moments. You gnome how much I love ya (sorry had to ;)."

Long jokingly commented: "That's ALL you wrote about me??? Well... I admire your restraint."

The Dodgeball star confirmed their relationship in December 2021.

During an episode of his podcast, Life Is Short With Justin Long, the actor said that he was dating Bosworth; months after she announced her divorce from ex-husband Michael Polish.

"I had reached a point where I was happy with myself and ready to be with the one, even though I didn’t know it at the time,” he said on The Vialle Files podcast in April. “

"I had met her, and I had found her."

The couple went Instagram official in May 2022.

Long was the first to post, opting for a casual selfie of the two of them sipping Guinness in Ireland.

Then it was Bosworth's turn - posting a carousel of couple photos to celebrate Long's 44th birthday in June.

"You were born today and the world lit up brighter than it had known and years later you met a girl whose life was disassembled/rearranged but you were patient and with time she fell in love now she has a glow (one that was forgotten long ago) she is so grateful," Bosworth wrote.

"Happy Birthday @justinlong you make me smile so big my face hurts xx Thank you for creating peace in my heart since the day we met."

"Loving you is easily the best gift I've ever received (I'm going to tell you this in person as soon as I walk out of the bathroom," Long replied.
