Where are they now? The boy band Hanson, 26 years on.

It feels like everyone had a poster of a boy band on their bedroom wall growing up. Anecdotally speaking, Hanson was the teen boy band that so many feel nostalgic about.

Together, the three brothers – Isaac, Taylor and Zac –  were responsible for the 1997 hit 'MMMBop', which everyone knows to be one of the greatest contributions to music of the last century. Facts.

So, whatever happened to this trio from Oklahoma who looked pensively into a camera for most of their youth?

From all of them meeting their future wives at concerts, to plenty of parenting adventures, here's exactly what the lives of the guys behind Hanson look like now.

Isaac Hanson now.

Isaac Hanson was 11 when Hanson became a band, and is now 42 years old.

It was back in 2003 when he first met his now-wife, Nicole Dufresne, spotting her in the crowd at a Hanson performance. Isaac ended up asking a stage manager to keep her back after the show so he could introduce himself. And sparks continued to fly from there.

"I had sung the entire show to her. I threw a guitar pick at her and hit her with it. She still has the guitar pick," he recounted on a podcast recently. By 2006 they were married.

The pair have now three children together; sons Everett, 16, and Monroe, 15, and daughter Odette, nine.

Recently Isaac and his brothers launched a new album Red Green Blue, which comprises three solo-led projects in one record.

Reflecting on his family life now, Isaac wrote that it's what he's built at home that is his greatest achievement, rather than any of his musical successes. And has plenty of public praise for his wife as well.

"Nothing that I have ever done, songs written, albums sold or streamed, tickets sold, awards won etc. comes anywhere close to the importance or value of what Nikki does every day," he wrote on Instagram.

"She has dedicated herself, day after day, to the incredible task of caring for and raising the next generation of our family. She has made our house a home."

Taylor Hanson now.

Not that we're counting or anything but Taylor Hanson, who was nine when the band was formed, has the most Instagram followers out of all three Hanson brothers. Shout out to Taylor!

He is now 40 and has been with his wife Natalie Hanson for a number of years. The pair first met as teens while Hanson was on tour in Atlanta, Natalie's hometown. They married in 2002.

Together they have seven kids — Ezra, 20, Penelope, 18, River, 16, Viggo, 14, Wilhelmina, 10, Indiana, four, and Maybellene, two.

Interestingly, Taylor said he and his wife always envisioned a big, Southern family for themselves. Taylor himself grew up as one of seven — the Hanson band members the three eldest siblings out of the lot.

"I think what's really cool about bigger families is that everybody develops this innate ability to figure out how to compromise, work with others and realise that the entire world doesn't revolve around you," the musician told Today's Parent

Taylor said recently that among his seven kids, he has noticed that a few of them are very musically talented.

"I have some that are extremely like, 'I want to be on stage. I want to be a drummer. I want to play music.' One of my boys said at one point, 'You know, Dad, I think I want to control the musicians, not be one.' I was like, 'Okay, that's scary.' Future manager," he said to PEOPLE.

But when it comes his role of being a dad, Taylor said it's his favourite 'job' in the world.

"The job of being a dad is to sacrifice everything you want for that kid. I may be in the middle of meeting some famous musician, but, sorry, I've got to call my daughter and talk to her about her day."

Taylor also does a lot of work with the Recording Academy, which brands itself as the world's leading society of music professionals, working to foster opportunities and growth for creators/musicians. He's also involved in a lot of music-related charities and protests for various causes, often posting about them on his social media.

Zac Hanson now.

Zac was certainly the baby of the group, only being around six years old when they first started the band. He is now 35 and a dad to five kids.

Quite hilariously, Zac also met his now-wife, Kathryn, at a concert – and it happened to be the same concert where Taylor met his wife at. Zac and Kathryn then married in 2006 after five years of dating.

Together they have kids Sheperd, 15, Junia, 12, Abraham, nine, Lucille, six and Quincy three.

Speaking to UK talk show Lorraine, Zac explained that the 15 children between him and his brothers are all really close.

"It's a cool thing. We spend a lot of time together touring, in the studio and around each other, so our kids know each other really, really well... They're really, really close."

These days, Zac also does a lot of online video content showing him gaming with his eldest child Sheperd, their YouTube channel has a number of followers.

For Zac, he told PEOPLE that a big part of his parenthood journey has been keeping his kids grounded and telling them they're loved.

"For us, we just always had a really strong sense of place, and I think our kids have gotten that in a double dose," he said. "They're never going to go through the world wondering where they belong because there's a bunch of people that love them. I think that's the number one thing you can pass on to someone, especially as a dad, is to say, 'You belong here. You'll always have a place here.'"
