The highest paid jobs in Australia have been revealed and the mining industry is still booming, even if the boom is officially over.
Global warming be damned, if you wanna take home the big buck-a-roos in this country that’s still where they’re at… Western Australia.
Miners take home an average yearly paycheck of $115, 005, according to a report on advertised wages from SEEK. Sigh.
In second place are consultants and strategists, who rake in an average of $108,471 per year.
The construction industry ain’t a bad place to be either, with an average annual salary of $106,693.

I would love to hear more if you have more. How about hospitality and sales service industry within its own sector? Frontline service in the representation of retailers getting paid minimum wages vs mid to upper and top managements that don't relate or understand these underpaid positions, and have not done these positions themselves......yet want results. They also appear to have no emotional or empathetical idea of what it's like on such bad wages, but expext blood out of a stone from their core employees.
There are other jobs that pay more than is listed. Airline captains pay is way above that. So happy to know some female airline Captains kicking butt in that industry.
I have a few female friends that are engineers that have left the profession because it was too difficult to manage family and a career in engineering. They just can't give the hours their employer needed.
